I recently watched the debut PWX show with the main event of Steve Corino vs Teddy Hart, and they did the exact same finish from Montreal, except Corino had Hart in Cobra Stretch not a Sharpshooter.

Hebner was still using it up until only a year ago. I went to a TNA show in Brussels, Belgium in January 2011 and when Hebner showed to referee his first match of the evening, he wore Bret sunglasses and a shirt that had 'I screwed Bret' written on it (as in actually written with a marker). The show was very poorly attended, most people in the crowd had no idea what this old referee was doing and the ones who did didn't care. It came off as desperate, pathetic and completely out of touch. Yes, Hebner is the only one who won't let this go. He appears to be exceptionally passionate about trying to get over any way he can despite being just a referee.

Screwjobs in the title match/main event were actually a running theme for quite a long time at Survivor Series. In 1999, Vince screwed over HHH (ironically Vince was a babyface at the time). In 2000, Angle screwed Taker with the Eric Angle plan. In 2001, Angle was the WWF's double agent in the Alliance. In 2002, Heyman screwed Brock and defected to the Big Show. In 2003, Kane helped Vince win Buried Alive against the Undertaker. You forgot the '98 screwjob where they rehashed the Montreal Screwjob wth the Rock doing a sharpshooter to Mankind and Vince calling for the bell.

As bad as that was (and it was really bad) I think the biggest anger I've heard toward any usage of the rehash was the Styles one from Impact in 2010 because it was a malicious screw-job apparently done entirely in a jovial babyface manner, making who to root for flat out confusing. Can anyone verify this? It was more ridiculous because WWE was running Bret vs. Vince at the same time, which just made TNA look so bush league. They ARE bush league.
