At this time of year there always comes a lot of Royal Rumble stats/records, but which to you always stands out as the most impressive? -*Also as a side note, I noticed through putting this together that each "generation" (or "era") seemed to have one Superstar that dominated the Rumbles. It was Hogan for "Hulkamania/Golden Era", HBK for "New Generation Era" and Austin for "Attitude Era", but so far there hasn't been really anyone who can claim that since.

Had to go with Kane. He's Mr. Royal Rumble. I can't see Austin's number of wins as impressive when he won one Rumble because the referees didn't see him eliminated, and won another after being in for about 2 and a half minutes.

Had a tough time deciding between Rey's 61 minutes and winning with the #1 pick (which I ended up choosing).

I went with consecutive Rumble appearances. Considering how many superstars come and go, that's pretty impressive.

See that two votes to none? Jericho was right, the second out gets no respect for just as much work.

It amazes me that Kane has been in 13 consecutive Royal Rumble matches. I think he's done a great job in most of them as well.

Hell, if it were "real" 2 is at a disadvantage because he has to go right away, 1 gets to get his thoughts together during 2's two-minute entrance.

I do kind of wonder if it had been an IWC favourite like Bryan/Punk or Ziggler to do Myserio's time and win the Rumble, if that would have picked up more votes.

I voted for Rumble Eliminations, No's been booked to look that strong in a Rumble since and probably never will.
(In before Ryback breaks the record this year.)

Winning from #1, and even though the impressive feat is bearing the brunt of all the other entrants applies to both, I put Benoit over HBK due to match length.

Ric Flair winning the Royal Rumble for the vacant WWF title. Bingo....between this and Kane, it's tough to pick either as the most impressive moment.

It depends on how you look at it really.
Rey Rey having that long time is kind of bullshit because he spent almost all that time flat on his ass. Kane, on the other hand, eliminated 11 guys and was fighting basically the whole way during his entries.
From a smark perspective, that Kane was over enough to get into the Rumble 13 times in a row is RIDICULOUS. Basically no characters are that over and have a run like that for that long.

I say most eliminations, because guys can be in there for a long time and not do much, whereas eliminating a lot of wrestlers means that someone dominates, is someone you don't want to mess with or else you'll be eliminated, etcetera etcetera.

I voted for Mysterio. The Royal Rumble is about winning by any means necessary and that's the case especially if you have to put on an iron man performance in order to win. I also don't think its really fair that Michaels (understandably Benoit doesn't get mention) gets all the glory for being number one and winning when number two puts in equal amounts of work. I would think that being number two in the rumble would bring the same achievement.
So yeah, Mysterio was on his ass a lot, but if you're a 5'5" 200 lbs. man in a 60+ minute even with men twice your size trying to beat your ass and throw you over the top rope, I feel its absolutely believable that Rey would take a massive beating before pulling out the win.
