I've read alot of Tell-All autobiographies from wrestlers over the years...Bret Harts being my favorite...there just seems to be so many great stories on backstage life...the sex, drugs, politics, wild nights and its just all so entertaining.
I can't imagine any stories coming out like that now though...like a detailed tell all book on all the backstage stuff and life on the road..holding nothing back and trashing certain people backstage.
Is it because its all just to controlled and corporate now? I mean with all the wellness's and the rumors of divas sleeping around...some stuff like this must still happen but i can't ever see it being as publicized as wrestling life was in the 80's-90's.
Anyone else feel this way about todays era?

I feel like we're getting the tell-all book one sentence at a time on twitter. All of it told from different points of view.

I could see Zack Ryder coming out with a tell-all someday. Or at least becoming some kind of modern-day Tom Zenk online.

I bet Cena will eventually have a book. Sadly the 2 people I'd like to see come out with book probably wont ever happen. Taker and Vince.

Kane and I were going to headline Wrestlemania until Cena forced his way into the angle" type of middle-aged guy.

I expect to see a lot of anti Cena remarks years later from a lot of wrestlers just because he was the main guy and not them

I really want a Taker one. Vince will NEVER tell the truth on certain stuff. I think Undertaker would be an amazing read.

I think a book on the WWE written by J.R, Undertaker and Dean Malenko would be really insightful actually. I think it would capture a lot of angles and give us a nice look into all aspects of the goings on in the back and would be an enjoyable read. Not saying it would ever happen but a big hefty book with contributions from these three would be excellent.

There's one person who I want to see really do it, because it would wake a lot of people up, but I don't think they have the in-borne vitriol to pull it off.

I think any one person's autobiography, given Twitter being used in most places, would be fairly underwhelming. However, someone doing a WWE oral history would have the potential to be an AMAZING book: We know pretty much anyone who has anything to do with pro wrestling are relatively easy to get a hold of both on and offscreen, and there's so many autobiographies for wrestlers and shoot interviews (especially viable due to the deceased performers] that they could potentially get an amazingly in-depth oral history out.

I can't imagine him saying anything controversial ever unless he had a ridiculous falling out with WWE one day.

I get the feeling Orton will publish something one day. If he writes like he cuts promos, it'll be one word per page.

I really want a book by Vince about running the WWE. Even if it ends up being split into like 5 volumes, I'd buy them all.
