Neither the speakers or when I plug in headphones does the sound work. It also keeps telling me my silver light plug in is crashed?
(Obviously I am not tech savvy at all.)
Help?

A) Why are you using Silverlight? That thing is a hunk of junk.
B) If you can find your motherboard's exact specifics (that is, model number and such), you can go find the BIOS online and re-download the sound drivers specific to your computer.

Seriously though.....The Silverlight thing is true, I only use it for one thing and that because Wizards coded their D&D Character creator in it.
