I don't know if it's just me getting easily annoyed or not but this Bellator stuff is really starting to piss me off. They seem to talk about and promote these Bellator fights during Impact more so than they promote their own stuff. I understand that they have some sort of deal together and King Mo showed up as a special enforcer a while ago but I honestly think TNA is getting the raw end of the deal here. I think all the promotion is too much and it's effecting my enjoyment of the show.
Do any of you also feel this way and also to anyone who watches Bellator do they do any promotion of Impact during their show? I highly doubt they do but I wanted to make sure instead of just assuming.

They were likely paid to do so.

Oh yeah I know that they have a deal together and I understand it's all money but I just wanted to know if they were getting anything else out of it. Either way I wish they would just tone it down a little.

Spike is just trying to get people to watch. It was their very first live card on the channel last night. Hopefully they'll ease up a little. Probably not a lot since it's still the first season on Spike, but a little maybe.
I like Bellator and I'm almost afraid to say that on here. Enough crap is thrown their way in the Impact thread as it is, but it's true that they aren't doing themselves any favors with overpromoting to an audience who largely doesn't care about the product or the sport at all. I just hate that people are trashing it based off the bad promotion without even knowing or caring what the sport is, which isn't being fair at all. There were some great fights last night. I know it's not for everyone but I just hope people can try to be civil and at the very least be actually funny if they're gonna try and make fun of the show. If there's one thing I hate worse than people making fun of something they know nothing about, it's doing so badly.

They promoted Impact Wrestling on the MTV2 show. They even had the IW logo on the cage mat...but those shows averaged about no viewers, so i doubt it did much for TNA.
You are not likely to see Bellator promote Impact Wrestling on their time slot. At that point, Impact is a full week away while Bellator will always be immediately following Impact. It will ease up after Bellator settles in(they did well in the ratings).

It's not the fact that they're promoting it that really annoys me, it's the fact that they're promoting it during matches. It's incredibly disrespectful to the people in the ring who're working their asses off to try to entertain when the announcers go off on unrelated tangents or promote stuff that isn't even on the show. They should keep focus on calling the match and then promote Bellator after the match is done, instead of suddenly shifting focus midway through and then missing stuff that happens in the match.
