What do you think?
I'm in the middle of a Kitchen Nightmares marathon right now and even after all these years I still love the guy. Took pictures of myself at all his restaurants in Vegas last week (Seems like he has one in every hotel) and I would have eaten there if I didn't know better than to eat at a celebrity chef's restaurant in Vegas.
What do you think?

He rubs me the wrong way sometimes with the way that he constantly hops around and gesticulates with his hands and arms...
But yeah, guy's a boss. His best show (IMO) is the F Word, and for some reason, that never came to the US.

I'm a big fan of his but I'm sure a lot of his act is really played up for the cameras.

He entertains me just by being such a prick. I'm especially fond of his treatment of some of the wackjobs on Hotel Hell.

He's like Simon Cowel but without the charisma or the occasionally "Awwww he's actually a human being" moments.

He's awesome in my book. Sure, he goes over the top at times, but you can tell he genuinely enjoys and cares about his work.

His best show (IMO) is the F Word, and for some reason, that never came to the US. It was on BBC america at one point, my problem with it was it seemed like he had another idea for like 3 different shows and rather than film them was told to make them into some chimeric monstrosity.

He plays it up but there are times where he comes off very likeable.
Big fan.

He's like Simon Cowel but without the charisma or the occasionally "Awwww he's actually a human being" moments. He shows more charisma and AWW moments on the English shows. I remember one where he and his kids were raising some livestock and having to explain to them that their pet had to die soon.

He plays up the persona but he's a man that's passionate about the industry. I've also seen far more humanizing moments from him than Cowell with one example being from Season 4 of Kitchen Nightmares UK.
A young girl was hired for the role of head chef in a small vegetarian restaurant in France and Ramsey couldn't speak highly enough of her. So when the owner closed the place down, Ramsey personally hired her as an apprentice in one of his London restaurants working under one of his best chefs.

He is made to look like a jerk off in Hell's Kitchen, but the man is more passionate about food and people who love food than A LOT of celebrity chefs out there. Hell's Kitchen is all about him being a jerk off and yelling his nuts off to entertain the public who wants to see people humiliated.
F Word, Kitchen Nightmares UK and Masterchef are where you see that this guy cares about food more than alot of people out there who are considered celebs.

You see it on Kitchen Nightmares US a bit too... just not when he's dealing with the horribly delusional people on the show (Which are usually the majority I will grant you)

I don't like American TV's Gordon. I do, however, ADORE British TV's Gordon.

Never watched anything of his, really not my genre, but I always mentally follow up his name with, "The man in gauze! The man in gauze!"

I wish BBC America would show something other then his shows and top gear all day. They occasionally show Doctor Who as well.
