Do some guys just wake up one day and go "Hmm, I need something to make me look more interesting as a character. Should I get haircut, try new wrestling attire, or maybe...take some acting lessons. Nah, I'll stop shaving- that'll work!"
Some guys carry facial hair well. A few really don't. And then for some it's just a running gag. I don't mind goat-face or Cody's stache. But then there's Orton...WTF? Or Gabriel?
I also wonder if the guys in charge are armed with a razor if guys choose to grow their beards behind approved specs. "Sorry Primo, you're only allowed 1/2 inch of a chinstrap of hair. Now go douche up your face appropriately, or we'll stick you with Rosa again!"

Orton and Gabriel both look much better with the beards in my opinion. It's easy to see why guys do it. It's a small change that freshens up their look a little, and it takes the opposite of effort; nature does all the work.
Hearing how anal they are about the divas ("You need a manicure"- who in the hell is gonna notice divas fingernails?!?) they'll likely be similar with the guys regarding things they can change, like beards and hairstyles.

Cena is clean shaven. Does he still do the Gillette thing? I'm not even sure if he can grow facial hair. For Cena, being clean shaven is fine. He looks his age, but for guys like Miz, Cody, and Ryder, the facial hair helps them look like grown men instead of teenage boys. |

Alberto Del Rio seriously needs to grow a mustache. Whether it is a big thick full magnum Pi mustache or Zoro mustache is up to debate.

I wonder what the diva version of "growing a beard to look older" would be, since the ideal is to look young as possible forever. I think it'd be AJ looking in the mirror and saying "Hmm...I better stop shopping at the juniors section and only wear pastels" So...if AJ wore pastels, would she still look 4?  |
