I've been trying to find a clip of this to show my GF - anyone have a gif or link handy?
One of those great things that made TNA fun back in the day.

Homicide or Mike Tenay? I can't remember Homicide high fiving west, but you can find Tenay doing it on Google. Funnily, Googling "homicide high five don west" throws up the Tenay clip.

I know what the OP's talking about.
Homicide hit a dive to the outside and immediately high-fived West at the announce booth afterwards in celebration.

Homicide was awesome, yet another in the long list that TNA shouldn't have let go. The x-division used to be overflowing with talent

It's funny, Don West started out rubbish, got good, got kinda stale and then became amazing when he "turned heel". I sincerely miss him and every time I hear Taz speak, I get a little sad. Even at his worst, least West always had excitement in his calling of the show.

Holy hell, that guy loved Red! And, I swear some forms of torture are more humane than what TNA did to Don some shows. I felt like I could hear his brain breaking at times when he'd have to try to explain some of the nonsensical crap TNA's done over the years. Worst yet is when Tenay would be saying something different, that didn't make sense, and would try to talk Don down while Don was trying to add logic.

I miss Homicide and LAX but...
Don West? There was a massive, massive anti- Don West presence here on the Crap forums. On every forum. I remember every single "What should TNA do.." post started and ended with hatred for Don West.
Now a few years pass and he gets love. Weird. I think he was 10 times worse than Taz on his worst day. I enjoyed heel West for the what, 3 weeks he did it. But other than that Don West marked out loud for every single move, annoyed the hell out of me and people in the IWC HATED him.

That was one of those situations were people wanted them to replace West and Tenay and what they got was Tenay and Tazz. Something so much worse than Don West, so now it's like, "Oh man, I miss Don West." Plus, for me at least, TNA as a product was much more enjoyable around 07-09 when West was announcing.
