This one has to be pretty far up there for me. My favorite part is when Lincoln comes alive.

NO VIDEO has absolutely ruined a career/legacy like Billy Squire's "Rock Me Tonight"
Seriously, if you've never seen this video, you need it as the bad video to measure all bad videos. Squire went from filling stadiums to literally facing 50% refunds after this clip went into circulation. I don't think you can find another incident of a video killing a video star like this.

One more video that just shows how important editing is to a video.
Toto Coelo's "Milk From the Coconut" was very early in the music video's infancy, but even considering its contemporaries even then, was woefully hacked to death. For something that was shot to be an attention grabbing fast-cut clip, look at how many shots painfully linger and are then IMMEDIATELY followed by cramming speed-cuts a half second late.
Hauntingly bad. Even if you "don't look for" such errors in videos, the generally unappealing execution of this video makes it hard to ignore:

The first video link to this is the same video with "I Feel Like a Woman" dubbed over it. Always like to start the day with a laugh.

This is basically cocaine and homoerotic desire given music video form, and yet it's just so...joyful.

Made even better by being introduced by Kevin from The Office and a Satanic Peter Stringfellow.

This song epitomizes cheese and the 90s. The video is complete awesome though, it's like he walked onto the set of an episode of Xena Warrior Princess. There are awesome boobs and hot babes everywhere.

I'm kind of amazed that as many 80s fans there are, nobody has posted this one yet.
Nonsensical song + nonsensical video = legendary production.

This is basically cocaine and homoerotic desire given music video form, and yet it's just so...joyful. I have a funny story about this video. In 1985, to promote the upcoming Live Aid, Coca-Cola had several 35mm prints struck of this video to air in movie theaters during the previews. Of course, like most trailers, the vast vast VAST majority of these have been destroyed. Fast forward to the year 2003 when my friend acquires a copy. My friend collects 35mm prints and, lucky for all of us, then owned and operated a certain major independent theater in Minneapolis that would show big-name Hollywood films as well as the indies. Suffice to say, a good mix of people would come to his theater for all sorts of films. Which is why it's particularly awesome that he would splice the big screen "Dancing in the Street" video into the previews before the major films that would be opening that weekend, confusing/amusing movie-goers of all ages.
