Could Vickie Guerrero Have Become a Diva?

Let's say that back in the 90s, when she was in her 20s (she's 44 at the moment, if you didn't know), Vickie got some training at the Guerrero family house, and decided that she wanted to become an actual wrestler like her husband.

We know nowadays she can have an in-ring personality that would give her a unique character.

But do yo think that, if she did do that training, she could have been somewhat successful, even short term, in WWE as a Diva?

Yeah she would have had in her prime people like Trish, Molly Holly and Victoria to deal with, but still.

Well, she is not particularly beautiful (she is alright for her age and actually has a nice body now), so the only way she would have been used is as a Bull Nakano type (another woman treated as a beastly woman despite simply just not being as good looking as their star).

I'm sure she could be trained to do PPV pay-off matches.

I know it's quite a different comparison but Vince was great at doing this back in the day, he'd just train for one-off matches every once in a while to keep the feuds going.

I think Vickie should start to do this, she draws great heat so why not use that to get over a face Diva that opposes her?

I'm not saying wrestling is a walk in a park by any stretch, but she is around exceptional talent week in week out every year so I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe it wouldn't be so hard to put it all together for a one-off match sometime.

I think during one of the Eddie DVDs there's at least one picture of her young. I'd have to go back and see.

Not that many pics out there of her and Eddie. I remember seeing another where she was quite pretty.


If we're talking the late 90's she could have been a diva (provided she'd get the obligatory 90's stapled on basketball boobs). When they got more into the wrestling (Trish/Lita/Jazz/Molly/Victoria etc) I doubt she would have flourished. She doesn't move very athletically doing very basic things now, and If her daughter is anything to go by, she never would have picked it up.

They treat her like a Diva from time to time now, so she certainly COULD have been during the 1990s when she was younger and slimmer.

If Vince McMahon thought Francine was too ugly to be a diva, and Stephanie McMahon used to give Nidia a hard time about being "overweight", then I seriously doubt it.

My point is not that I think she is unattractive, but that she is not what those in charge think of as diva material. I mentioned her being a Bull Nakano type because based on what I have seen she never was a dainty thing (and to me that is a very good thing as I like meat on their bones) and if she had been trained she probably could have worked as a powerhouse in the diva ranks.

No, and that's not a bad thing. Vickie has a nice body (despite WWE wanting you to believe) and it's nice to see a woman who doesn't look like a model.
