Ever see something for a long time and be hesitant to take a chance then finally buy it and it turns out to be awesome? Well, this thread is for you!
I recently bought some Hillshire Farm Cold Cuts and they are delicious! For the longest time I thought they couldn't possibly compare to the deli, but I was definitely wrong at least with the roast beef and ham.
Another one is the frozen White Castle hamburgers. Delicious!

Deli/take and bake pizzas. I thought it was going to taste like Mama Rosa's bobo ass frozen pizza, but it wound up tasting better than name brand frozen pizza.

Buying a cheap store brand and finding out it is way better than the name brand product. If I shop at the "name" store, Always Save brands are cheaper and just as good as any name-brand. Canned vegetables, canned ravioli, crackers, bag of sugar, bag of rice...nothing wrong with them at all. If I shop at Aldi or Save-A-Lot, the bread/rolls/buns are quite good, the store brand Spaghettios (and the like), even the snacks/chips are very good for a reasonable price. They have their own brand of "On-Cor" dinners, just as good. The pizzas are like Freshetta or DiGiorno, but they only have two choices: Cheese or Pepperoni. There aren't many things of which we won't buy the name brand. Toilet paper has to be a certain kind. (I live with women, I just let them decide. Don't make a difference to me to start a war over.) Cheese has to be a name-brand (store brands are rather stiff and don't melt).
