Saw this on wwe.com. Teddy Long's best tag team matches. www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/teddy-long-best-tag-team-matchesWith as much as Teddy has gotten made fun of on here because of his propensity for making tag team matches, it surely has to be a sign of how much someone from WWE lurks on here. I now eagerly await the list of how many times Teddy Long forced Undertaker to do his bidding.

It doesn't necessarily have to be here that WWE lurks, as I think Teddy Long's tag team matches are a meme at every wrestling forum on the Net.
That being said, they probably have someone on payroll that reads most of the major wrestling forums anyway.

All that reminded me was how much Alex Riley has fallen.

I must admit that if there is a WWE lurker who gets ideas from this forum, I do in fact find it flattering. It won't stop me from facetiously complaining though.

Its not like Teddy is actually shoot booking a ton of tag matches. It's the standard lazy/cheap WWE booking they do with all people in power, its just that Teddy has been in the role for the longest and it always being on the B show so he gets credited with the meme since its used far more on the second tier shows.
People from WWE doesn't need to come here to pick up on something they do intentionally over and over again, they are very self-aware of their own playbook.

All that reminded me was how much Alex Riley has fallen. He was the first to be "eliminated" last night in that "battle royal".

Plus Teddy Long has been a GM for nearly 8 -9 years now. The writers probably have moments of Deja vu when writing a opening segment that ends with a tag team match. It's like shit I wrote this at least 20 times now. It's kind of like when the forum members here thought we were the only ones who've noticed Darren Young as black Cena despite hundreds of thousands of fans saw it from the get go. Plus his co workers in the backstage probably seen it first before he even went on TV. Hell The Nexus was feuding with Cena and I'm sure backstage when all of the members of the group and Cena were reharsing the segment and getting the run down, they were like shit they really look alike while Darren Young and Cena were about 10ft apart from each other.

I get what everyone is saying and all that. Its just such a random article for WWE.com to publish. I'm sure plenty of other forums have gone on about Teddy's love of tag matches, its just this is pretty much the only forum I talk about WWE at, so I honestly don't think of other wrestling forums.
At the same time, if WWE were to hire me to lurk a forum, I would choose this one because for the most part its civil. The posters can be very funny and clever. And even when being upset at the product, most of the people here don't go into EXTREME BUTTHURT mode. I also think what also makes us look good is that we seem to strike the right balance between being smarky, and passionate fans. So yeah, I can totally see WWE doing some things just to see if we're paying attention. I didn't ever really believe that until Batista came walking out on Raw with a basketball in his hands.
This is just my opinion after being here for 6 years.

If wwe.com produce a top 10 list of things that ruined the Tensai gimmick then i'll believe they read this forum

If wwe.com produce a top 10 list of things that ruined the Tensai gimmick then i'll believe they read this forum I'm still hoping WWE does a segment where Tensai is backstage and his phone rings with someone asking him if the WWE has "Prince Albert in a can" and Tensai gets all pissed. But then there's a reference or something to an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode where Santino tries calling Tensai asking if the WWE has "Fat Albert in a can" with the original caller telling him "NO it's PRINCE Albert"
