Still keeping the company's completely separate - WWE would be ating as nothing more than a network provider. Would this not be a win-win?
WWE gets the second largest wrestling promotion in the US onto their network which helps increase the amount of wrestling fans buying into the network - TNA could even work out a deal where they share their video library.
TNA on the other hand gets to be associated with WWE and exposes their company to a much larger fan base.

Never going to happen, it has the potential to lose WWE fans.

Put it this way - would you walk into an Apple store and see Samsung phones?

Yeah, didn't you see the announcement? We were told it was coming in a few months... back in 2011.

WWE's still making a network? They're talking about launching in late '13 as an HBO premium style channel.

...nah man.
They'd have to own them in order to play TNA in the network and I don't wanna see that. WWE as a whole probably don't want TNA to be exposed to a larger fanbase anyway.
They'd probably play full Nitros, Thunders, Saturday Night, ECW Television and ppvs from both companies though.
