LOL at TNA winning Best Television show and Worst Promotion. Yea thats weird Maybe people felt the PPVs and house shows weren't up to scratch? Their PPV promotion was certainly shoddy.

NJPW had their best year in a while, and the two on TV here have been in their normal steady spots. did you guys expect TNA or WWE to not have more votes than things like ROH or ultimate figher?

This list is ridiculous..how can something/someone appear on both BEST and WORST lists? Like Joseph Park winning Best Gimmick & also being the 8th worst gimmick.

Seems like the TNA stans have gone up all over the place. I still don't buy into the promotion and never saw the big fuss tha a lot of people put up.
I'm also STUNNED that Daniel Bryan didn't win best gimmick.

I'm also STUNNED that Daniel Bryan didn't win best gimmick. Forget Daniel Bryan, Team Hell No was robbed. Tag team who are thrown together because they're reluctantly going through anger management together? The concept is gold. The oddest one to me was Antonio Cesaro getting plenty of votes for Best Gimmick. Until JUST recently, his gimmick was the only thing bad about him...

How talented can one guy be to go from being a convincing monster for a decade into a lovable underdog LAWYER of all things and make him the most cheered persona in the company?

This is the second time in three years that Meltzer openly wanted Silva/Sonnen to win Feud of the Year, only for it to be beaten by a non-WWE wrestling feud.

will finishing 2nd in the worst gimmick category ruin the Tensai gimmick?

This list is ridiculous..how can something/someone appear on both BEST and WORST lists? An almost equal number of voters strongly like something as the number of voters that strongly dislike something. In each category, those voters had the largest percentage. Fairly simple.

Maybe people felt the PPVs and house shows weren't up to scratch? Their PPV promotion was certainly shoddy. I'd say Ring of Honor was worse in that regard, but it did win second in worst promotion.

I thought Cole was great most of the year, until Lawler had the heart attack. He wasn't that horrible abrasive heel that he was in 2011, but was a contrary opinion to Lawlers "everything the face does is correct and right". Then after the Lawler heart attack he instantly shifted back to what he was before the heel turn in 2011.
Wasn't even close to being the worst commentator of the year, though. Lawler wins that easily. Then there's people like Taz. But Cole wins due to his reputation, I guess.

Yeah, I don't think people understand how much talent it takes to pretend to absolutely suck as a wrestler.... and pull it off. WWE should rip this gimmick off and have Kane become an accountant or a sports-writer or something.

Interesting that Punk who has held the belt for so long barely made the list of box office draws

Yeah, I don't think people understand how much talent it takes to pretend to absolutely suck as a wrestler.... and pull it off. Usually people just say said wrestler sucks. But since the Joseph Park character is meta, folks love it. Wonder how people would react if Wes Brisco suddenly becomes a technical mat wizard.

As for Best Weekly TV Show, there were four WWE shows on the list. This means that voters for WWE split the vote up between 4 shows while TNA voters only had one choice.

Interesting that Punk who has held the belt for so long barely made the list of box office draws Because he isn't a big draw. The guy's tv ratings aren't all that great and the big pay-per-view numbers this year were caused by The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, and The Undertaker, with only partial points of that going to Punk.

I honestly believe that if Lawler hadn't had that heart attack & then returned not to long ago, he would've won that award.

I know it's cheap heat, but in reality, as far as the greatest of all time are concerned when we look back, how could Punk really rank high if he doesn't draw? I mean Hogan isn't regarded as great as far as technical wrestling is concerned, but he was a draw and that trumps all
