LOL at TNA winning Best Television show and Worst Promotion. It really shows though how odd TNA is. I'd say for a good part of the year, especially during the summer, TNA was on fire, and I was thinking, this is definitely the best wrestling show this year. It's honestly apropos. They did some great stuff, but f***ed it all up, and deserve to be worst promotion for that. As far as Joseph Park getting 8th for worst gimmick, I just chalk that up to snobby fans personally, where as TNA getting best TV show and worst promotion makes a lot more sense.

Whether you agree or disagree with these listings, I'm happy.
You know why?
Because thanks to Meltzer and his readers gushing all over New Japan this year, I can go to my deathbed forever saying that I witnessed the 2012 Wrestling Observer Event of the Year AND Match of the Year live and in person. I was right there at the Ryogoku Kokugikan at King of Pro Wrestling on October 8th, and saw the glory that was Tanahashi vs. Suzuki with my own eyes (granted, I was way the heck up in the nosebleeds, but still). Damn, I feel proud. ;D
I have GOT to get that event on DVD now.

It's bittersweet to see Tyson Kidd win the Most Underrated award.
Nice that he gets noticed as an underdog, but I hope he never ends up winning again and actually gets used to his potential.
I disagree with JR as best announcer of 2012 but I also don't watch NXT very often. Heard he mainly just the main events on those shows. Hard to believe there isn't someone else working full time out there who deserves it more than JR this year.
Also disagree with Michael Cole as being the worst.
