Best thing to come out of those trailers: Hobo with a Shotgun. Worst thing to come out of those trailers: Machete Hey, I liked "Machete." I am definitely looking forward to "Machete Kills" later this year.

Concept >>>>> Execution Don't get me wrong. I liked Grindhouse a lot, but I thought it didn't live up to it's own potential, given the concept. The "trailers" were by far the best part of the experience. Completely agree. In fact, the only "Grindhouse Feature" that I really, really liked was Hobo With A Shot Gun... felt most authentic, and the least forced of them.

I remember vividly seeing it in the theater. It was me and maybe twenty other people. At the part where the scientist tell his flunky "I want your balls" and tosses him the knife, I glanced around and saw all the other guys crossing their legs. Funniest part of the whole damn movie for me.

I loved it, but you realy needed to see both parts in theaters complete with the trailers to really get the experience.
still waiting for Werewolf Women of the SS, Thanksgiving and especially DON'T!

I actually bought the Grindhouse Blu-ray as well as the separate Blu-rays of Death proof and Planet Terror. I'm hardcore!
I loved seeing Grindhouse in theaters and I like the individual extended versions of them too.

Even Tarantino doesn't like Death proof.
