Figured since this was WCW related it belonged here. www.wwe.com/classics/classic-lists/20-greatest-wcw-matchesPretty good list, the placement of some makes me scratch my head a bit, but then most lists do that. I think its also somewhat of a sign that WWE acknowledges that not all of WCW was bad.

Not a bad list. Weird focus on hardcore though, but WCW always was quite good at letting their guys do what they liked in the ring - which was sometimes a good thing, sometimes a bad thing.

Pretty much seems like a list of 20 matches they've released on WCW DVDs (except Strings Squad vs Dangerous Alliance)

Lack of Flair vs. Funk but inclusion of multiple Dallas Page matches makes me weep..

If WWE ever compiled a DVD with all 22 of these matches, I would be on this like my dogs on leftovers!
I love that they include 19 matches plus the 1989 Flair/Steamboat trilogy.

I like Page/Goldberg, but 3? Wow.

Wow, this would make an AMAZING DVD collection. I think the only matches I would take out would be Goldberg/DDP (no idea how this got ranked so high) and Hogan/Flair (although I understand it's historical significance). Still a really solid list though!

Personally, I would have had one of the Flair/Fujinami matches on there. I loved them both, and they are definitely underrated.

Since this list is technically the 22 Greatest WCW Matches because of the Flair/Steamboat trilogy, I have a question to pose to all of you. What if you were able to add 3 matches to this list and develop it into the 25 Greatest WCW Matches? What would you choose?
My picks: -I Quit Match: Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk (Clash of the Champions IX) -WarGames: Sting, Flyin' Brian & The Steiner Brothers vs. The Four Horsemen (WrestleWar 91) -Rey Mysterio vs. Psichosis (Bash at the Beach 96)
I was tempted to pick the match where Hogan was revealed to be in the nWo just for it's historical significance, but I think all three of these matches are just too damn good to pass over. Very curious to hear some of your picks.

I haven't seen the entire list, but what I have seen of it is very respectable. I don't suppose WWE acknowledged Benoit by including his Owen Hart tribute match against Bret.
