Honestly this is best for TNA because Jakks was horrible at producing the figures they have real distribution issues maybe a different company can pick them up

Well considering how long it took for them to get the outdated models out and the amount of cancelled series and figures, this is quite frankly some welcome news.

I'm surprised they ever went to them in the first place. Jakks' WWE figures the last few years were horrible.

Before I sold off my collection and I still used to play with them, I loved Jakks figures. They are ugly to look at, but I remember them being very fun to play with. I've only seen a few of the Mattel figures, but there's no doubt that Mattel demolishes Jakks in the aesthetics department.

Mattel hands down is the best choice right now for wrestling figures, flexibility, the fact there is size differential also the accessories are pretty cool. They also get the figures out fast only draw back is the price

And I never got a chance to collect the Dixie Carter action figure. The figure would have been updated every year, but there wouldn't be any actually difference between them.

And I never got a chance to collect the Dixie Carter action figure. Is it the real Dixie or an incredible simulation? Either way both never change their facial expression.

I'll believe it when there's more solid proof from a reliable source.

And I never got a chance to collect the Dixie Carter action figure. Doll, it's a doll, sugah! And if a company makes an action figure of Eric Young, and it's the same height as your Kevin Nash figure, something has gone horribly wrong.

I'm surprised they ever went to them in the first place. Jakks' WWE figures the last few years were horrible. I always felt the headscans for the most part were good. I would take the head models for the Jakks figures and put them with the Mattel bodies that WWE is with now. The Mattel scans are fine, but the plastic and paint they use make them look like customs. That was the big thing for me with Jakks. They could get the head scan (when it wasn't screaming) perfect, yet completely ruin the figure by the fact that they recycled the same bodies for years. Oh, and the figures weren't to scale. Nothing like seeing Paul Bearer tower at least 2 ft over Undertaker. By the time they finally addressed these issues, WWE was already in the early stages of dumping them.

If true, it's the end of a long era for wrestling figure collectors. Though I'd suspect for most of us that that era might as well have ended in 2010 when WWE went to Mattel.
Jakks did pretty well with scans and things like texturing hair/jeans - something Mattel doesn't usually do. They also had an incredibly diverse and deep Classic line; the last successful legends-themed line we've seen since. But yeah - they've been making goofy ballooned up figures for far too long now. Their downfalls were leaving out/shrinking details and using incorrect parts. That Joe/Foley 2-pack where they reused Umaga's parts, where both guys had to have their legs bent to even properly fit in the package, embodies how lazy and careless they often were.
That was always my main problem with them back when I bought their WWE stuff - they seriously didn't give a shit. They'd get one figure down great, then they'd make Evan Bourne tower over Undertaker...a problem that could've been easily fixed with using the shorter parts they already made beforehand. And when they weren't busy giving The Legacy the most roided out torsos they had, they acted like making new body molds was such a task...but then they'd spend that precious money to make an entirely unique Colin Delaney figure.
I suspect there's awful communication going on there internally.

I don't think this is true.
Our one source is some dude from another forum that has a custom subtitle telling us that he is a bad trader and has a negative karma level. I'm sure this guy is on the up and up.
