I loved those segments. Especially when he did them with Kaz Hayashi.
Kai en tai then had their own rip off version.

It ended when he walked off while Russo was dubbing him. Apparently he hated the gimmick.

Yeah, Ed Ferrera did the voice. This started during the first Russo era and, since Ferrera stayed on, was one of the few gimmicks to survive into the Sullivan era. It was funnier at first, especially the first promo where La Parka claimed he wore the costume because of his love for Masters of the Universe. Like everything during the Sullivan era, it got boring quick.
I was mildly irritated when the WWF ripped this off with Kai-En-Tai later in the year, just for the fact that nobody believed me when I told them WCW did it just a few months before.

...Why was Finlay dressed like The Dudleys? At the time Finlay was a hardcore wrestler and dressed in cammies since that what hardcore wrestlers wore. He also had a sidekick/pet named the Dog.

I didn't know La Parka was still in WCW in 2000.

The Dog may have had the greatest character write off in wrestling history. Screw that, the Dog may have had the greatest run in wrestling history. Just completely absurd.

As an ignorant teenager, I did find Lenny and Lodi to be a lot funnier, but I've come to realize over time that Billy and Chuck was more progressive in showcase a gay tag team in a positive light. You know, until the end.
