Oddly enough I was listening to Colt's interview with him.
I'm glad he's turning his life around. I used to have his action figure back in the day.

I'm ecstatic to hear and see that Jake is looking and feeling so much better.

I know it's been alluded to in the forums but I think this deserves it's own thread.
From PWInsider
DALLAS PAGE HAS HELPED JAKE ROBERTS SO MUCH THAT SCOTT HALL IS JOINING THE PROGRAM
By Mike Johnson on 2013-01-06 14:13:56
Jake Roberts has lost over 50 pounds since moving in with Diamond Dallas Page and starting Page's DDP Yoga health regimen.
Page will soon be moving Scott Hall into his home as well in an attempt to use the regimen to assist Hall with his personal and health problems.
A documentary about the process is filming currently.
Sean Waltman had tweeted earlier: “I talked to Scott Hall over the last few days. Yesteday he was stoked to give @ddpyoga a shot. No one is giving up on The Bad Guy"
This is excellent news. I wish Scott all the best.
I'm so proud of Jake too.

Jake Roberts and Scott Hall living together? Something's gotta give.

I know a lot of it is self-promotion because his yoga program is how he makes a living these days (though I suspect he's one of the ones, Nash being another notable one, who saved his money pretty well from his peak earning days), but I just think it can't be overstated how good of a dude DDP is. Like him as a wrestler or not, the guy just oozes enthusiasm and positivity in everything he does. The definition of an overachiever. Whether Jake or Scott stick with it long-term (which I'm guessing is a longshot) is irrelevant. DDP is good at helping people and making the best out of everything. That's an awesome characteristic.

I have always respected DDP as a wrestler but I can't help but respect him more for what he is doing these and THAT is a GOOD THING.

I'm very excited about Hall doing this. Jake seemed so much better since starting it. It seems to do wonders for him. I can see Hall showing a massive improvement if he gets his head on like Jake did.

These videos are great and I hope they release a documentary of this stuff at some point. Or even a 6 episode mini series or something. If it's a success I'd like to see Scott Hall or Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart live with DDP next. Heh, both of these are happening. Hall though, no Anvil, at least not yet. Wrestler Rehab W/ DDP Sunny needs to give Dallas a buzz.

I originally thought the this thread would be about how DDP turned chicken shit into chicken salad with Jake Roberts.

DDP with his positive attitude and yoga seems to be the only rehab that actually works and that makes DDP one of the most inspirational people alive IMO

Where is the original article? Would be cool to credit that so the site could get hits for this story.

Also something I never knew, Jake Roberts was one of DDP's trainers in wrestling. Seems appropriate that he'd help him out.

AWESOME. And I REALLY hope he can help Scott Hall in some way or another. Wrestling needs more DDP's.

Found the story. It's at www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/health/former-wrestler-uses-yoga-to-transform-lives/nTfw6/. Anyway, it's a pretty good story and awfully optimistic, but with a few people in the biz (namely, Scott Hall, Sunny, and Jake the Snake, but X-Pac and Chyna are on the list, too), it's tough to get too excited because they always seem a step away from going backwards. Of course, I'd love to wrong in any of these instances, but that cynicism is just so sharp for me.

One misstep and it's over.

Makes me smile to see Jake looking so good.
For all the jokes and mean stuff (deservedly so, to a point) written about him, Im glad to see Jake working so hard to beat this
