I don't understand why they couldn't have just told a story about these guys without all the obnoxious reality tv drama. I realize that goes with the territory, but that stuff immediately turns me off as a viewer.

This is pure spectacle. Sorry, but an acquaintance/the promoter drank with Jake last month at the nearby convention and he told him that not only do jake and hall still drink, there is a whole slew of videos being taped now to dramatize their 'recovery.' I legit feel horrible for anyone who donated a penny - understand that nostalgia aside, the goal here is to make a film and to sell a product. Believe it or not, just giving a word to the wise so no one gets toooo invested in what is, alas, spectacle of enormous proportions. If this is true, then it makes me even more glad I didn't donate.

Just imagine the amount of chaos if you had the likes of Sunny and Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart in the house too!
Have they ever said roughly how long Jake Roberts and Scott Hall will be staying in DDP's house for? Is there a timeframe?

If it is being worked rather than just a straight reality show then it's too bad because it would be nice to see a reality show or documentary that is not worked. Sometimes a "reality" show needs a little directing and editing to get on the right track. No matter what though it should not be overlooked at how great Jake's health has been for the last half a year.

relapses to happen, I just hope Jake picks himself up, dust himself off and defeat his demons, but at least he admitted he messed up which before October 2012 he would blame others.
his biggest mistake was hooking up with this woman which was a bad influence in the first place when he should have just let her go

I truly despise the reality tv presentation of everything that's happening. I mean it's hard to call the thing a scam because you can see what Jake the Snake looked like a year ago and clearly see DDP's made some positive changes for Jake, and Scott, but there's gotta be a better way to document this.

It's been going on for years and years. When Jake mentioned that he had had enough, that he was going to make the changes with DDP's help, it seemed like he was serious. After he relapsed the first time DURING his stint with DDP, I was okay with it, because maybe having that happen to him would have opened his eyes. Him being drunk on camera would have possibly changed things and made so he wouldn't do it again. But numerous people have reported that he's still drinking. He's just not that serious about it. He's serious for a short while, then he probably gets bored and goes back to it. This doesn't seem like a guy who is committed for the long haul. Hell, his whole goal for this seems to be for one last run at wrestling, to be in the Royal Rumble. Then what? Back to drinking? This is a guy that almost needs to be at the Betty Ford Center if he's THAT desperate to change. But he's not. And the biggest disappointment of all, is the fans who sank money into this and gave him the support, that he apparently wasn't thankful for. Yes, mistakes happen...but he's not learning from them. He's just admitting to it, and then going from there. Oh well. There's still Scott, hopefully.

From what I have seen, you're never really "cured" from substance abuse, so therefore, there is always the risk that the person will fall off the wagon. There are also, I imagine , varying degrees of addiction. My uncle is an alcoholic who, when he would drink heavily would only do so for sporadic periods of time and then, he wold be fine. He had done rehab and AA and never thought that AA was much help to his situation. Maybe traditional rehab isn't working for Jake? The way, I see it, I am not going to dismiss all of this stuff as a fraud simply because Jake fell off the wagon. Jake messed up and will have to deal with the consequences of his actions. OK, he's fallen off. The bigger question is can he get back up and is he willing to get back up? Just that fact that he is admitting "hey, I messed up" tells me that he is willing to do so.

It's nice to see that instead of kicking Jake when he's down, DDP is still doing everything he can to get him back on track. Not all options have been exhausted.

Little thing that doesn't mean anything, but, in the video above why did they bleep "bullshit" but let "f***" go by uncensored?
Anyway, hope Jake does finally beat his demons.

The last thing any recovering addict needs is to be on REALITY TV. Guys on Roberts's and Halls level is insane. Jesus, this is outrageous. You can get people into physical shape, Ddp, but your actually going to subject these guys to the stress of subjected to film crews and scripts? And we're suppose to find relapse suprising? Fu** you, DDP. Glad I wasnt on board from day one.

DDP is wrestling's version of Dr. Drew. People see him trying to help others but only those truly tuned into what he's doing are disgusted by the exploitation aspect.
