Yeah I don't know what they are actually called. Those things at the start of movies tell your made or distributed the movie. The most famous being MGM's lion or 20th Century Fox's searchlights.
One of my favorites is Mandalay Independent's... holy s*** a f***ing tiger one:

Although this has music for a Woody Woodpecker cartoon, there was a better one that contained a Superman-esque theme.
And although never released to the commercial audience, I really like the mash up of the original WB theme along with the Looney Tunes theme from the early 40's. This was only released for Warner employees around the holidays (one year contained the epic Porky Pig "son of a bitch" line). Oh and it also contains some pretty good flubs from some of the greatest actors of all time.

I like Univeral's one. Fox has the best fanfare with Morgan Creek in second place.
But Mandalay's tiger is always a plus.

20th Century Fox, hands down.
The in-your-face art deco structure, that fanfare. It's a true work of art all around.
