WWE love doing there yearly Rumble comedy spot, last year had about 5 comedy spots which was no needed, maybe this year they could throw this guy out there and have him nearly make the final four or get eliminated quickly for old time sake.

Wrong year to do it. Santino is injured, so they can't do the obvious Warlord/Santino showdown.

No, it is physically impossible to mark for the warlord

It would be funny, but I doubt 90 percent of the crowd would have any idea who that is. Maybe if the Rumble was in NYC, where they might react differently. For example, Bob Backlund at the 2000 Royal Rumble vs his appearance on Raw in Denver this past summer.

No, it is physically impossible to mark for the warlord Watch SSlam '88. MSG really liked the Powers of Pain. Absolutely. If they cue up the Powers of Pain theme too I would mark like skittle girl. They had a theme? When they first started, they had one. But it was dropped around the time of or before Survivor Series a few months later.

Nah, even though I love Jericho's interpretation of him in his first book. Still makes me laugh.

I have a question about the Powers of Pain. I've seen them listed as doing the Doomsday Device as a finisher. Now the Barbarian did a flying clothesline, and I know they were created as an anti-Road Warriors team. But I haven't found any videos of this. Did they ever actually do it?

They did a variation of it for a while - Warlord would bear hug a guy, Barbarian got on the top and clothslined him down and Warlord slammed him from there. But not like the LOD doomsday device.

Only if he is immediately eliminated, like in 1990

Only if he is immediately eliminated, like in 1990 Better still, how about FOUR seconds instead of two? He trained for 20 years to get past that pesky 2 second run!

If he appears, he should bring his "W" stick
