I came across this and while I haven't seen the full video, I assume it has to be good. The AVGN interviewing the Mel Brooks of exploitation can't be too bad.
(language warning I assume)

Just saw this earlier today. A very good insight on how Troma works and the film business in general.
I would totally love to see Mel Brooks and Lloyd appear on screen at the same time.

Haven't watched the video yet, but Kaufman always seems like such a cool guy to me. Also, with Rolfe and Diamanda Hagan, is he on a quest to meet as many Channel Awesome affiliates as possible?

Alright, I did watch it and it was very interesting. Kaufman has some very insightful comments about cinema in general. I especially liked the fact that even though he criticizes Hollywood, he's open-minded about it and doesn't fall into the "everything mainstream is crap that only sheeples watch! Only independent films are worth watching and indy filmmakers are all pure and perfect with no flaw whatsoever" attitude that so many independent cinema artists and fans have.
What really surprised me in that interview was to learn that they STILL have a hard time advertising their films and having them played today, even at independent film festivals, despite how famous they've become. Do some people hate money that much?
