For example, Jeff Hardy joins Immortal.
Everyone else: "Why would Jeff Hardy ever be a heel?"
Me: "Well think about it, the last champion was RVD, and Jeff has never beaten RVD in any company, it makes sense that he'd need help to get the belt off him."

The initial Michael Cole heel run from late 2010 until WrestleMania 27. It just lasted too long after that, and became a waste of time.

Define what you mean by 'like'
Because I had a blast watching the Kane/Cena/Eve/Ryder story as I found it hilariously bad. Yet I still liked it. Does that count?

The reign of terror.
People can complain all they like about HHH burying guys, but it was a great way to make the WHC seem legit and put Batista over big time.

The Claire Lynch story was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while. It was poorly acted, sure, but I didn't see it as a travesty in TNA. I'm sure TNA and the WWE have done worse and have had worse acting than the Claire Lynch story.

I might be the only one who thought the original idea for The Ding Dongs (a team of hunchbacks that couldn't be pinned) was something that might've been interesting to see.

Naomichi Marufuji as GHC Heavyweight Champion. Love the guy. Talented as hell and it looked as though NOAH was finally moving forward.
Nope.

At least around these parts I remember it was liked for a while (especially when it first came up on NXT), but people turned on it long before Wrestlemania.

From what I recall, the consensus was that Daniel Bryan hating, gong hitting Michael Cole was entertaining as hell, it wasn't until the Jerry Lawler feud that his stock fell deeply.

Jeff Jarrett's run at the top of TNA. I was watching Final Resolution '05 the other day and his match with Monty Brown epitomised what I loved about Jarrett's "reign of terror". He was the heeliest heel that ever did heel. Mr. Anderson's TNA run from his arrival all the way until March 2011-ish. I thought it was gold. Looking back it was only really them overdoing the thing with Anderson demanding his rematch and the fact that they needed a heel in the title picture which saw him constantly turning face and heel that ruined it. So in effect, Jeff Hardy is the reason I no longer enjoy Mr. Anderson . I also agree with the OP. When he was revealed as being in Immortal I was skeptical he could pull it off but it turned out to be greatly entertaining (when he was sober). Honestly it's the only time I've enjoyed a Jeff Hardy singles run. The rest of the time he's just super bland.

Giant Gonzalez. I really enjoyed watching him, and I thought he did a credible job as a monster heel--not one who was out to have a spectacular win-loss record through technical proficiency, but one who was simply out to get revenge on The Undertaker on Harvey Wippleman's behalf.

Ditto. I found a lot about Johnny Ace entertaining, including People Power.
