- Punk and Heyman mocking Lawler's heart attack. That was a lot more acceptable to me than Orton claiming Eddie was in hell, because King was unarguably in full support of it. That and Punk used it well in magnifying his character's megalomania.
- The Cena "Star Wars" promo.
- The Cena/Cole BBQ basting.
- Ink Inc.
- The Undertaker/Yokozuna casket match.
- Hornswoggle as the Raw GM. Actually, I didn't love it or rage at it, I was just indifferent.
- AJ Styles as Christian Cage's flunky.
- Cedric the Entertainer hosting Raw. Maybe it's the St. Louisian in me, but I've always liked him.
- R-Truth exploding.
Also, I think I recall the Main Event Mafia getting a mixed reaction at the time, but I thought they were awesome and hilarious together.

The reign of terror. People can complain all they like about HHH burying guys, but it was a great way to make the WHC seem legit and put Batista over big time.

I liked Roma too. Did people like Jeff Jarrett when he was calling everyone slapnuts in WCW, cuz I did. "Slapnuts" Jarrett was my favorite version of Double J.

TNA in 2010. Yup, I may be the only one, but I was riveted to my seat during impact every week. I hadn't enjoyed wrestling that much since 99.
MEM, I still don't get the hate. It was hot. It worked(viewership and live gates were TNA good and the actually sold some t shirts. AJ Styles got a WHC run because of his being the lead baby face of the frontline...the Hogan/Bischoff era ended that, WE, Matt Morgan's push ect. They did get that crap off of Jose's face and erased the nation of violence from all maps, so that's a win in my book)
NWO2000, I don't care how many times it was brought back, I say bring it back again and I shall dust off my wolf pack shirts in the recesses of my closet.
WCW 99-2000. Summer 2000 was hard to watch sometimes but at least it was on tv. All the Johnny come latlies who pine for its return make me suspect they are latching onto an IWC trend. Look if you really do want it back than I am cool with it. My problem is with the attitude era fans who gave loyalists like me, crap for the two yrs they got owned until they were literally owned by WWF. WWF fans buried wow every day online. Signs in arenas, cheers for Rock, Austin ect., when they would shoot on wow and bury them on RAW, all stung the hell out of me. I bought every ppv and watched every nitro, thunder and world wide I was not at work during. I literally paid the price for my loyalty. I went overseas and had to miss the final four months they were in business. I would read the nitro results twice every Tuesday so I could keep up, in the event armed forces radio and television ever picked up Nitro. It never happend. I waited until 2007 to see the last episode of nitro on YouTube. It reopened the wound. In 07 I started paying for wwe 24/7 just so I could watch old wow ppv and the Monday night wars. I dropped it in 09 when my son was born. I miss Nash, Hall, Goldberg, sting, Hogan and flair. I miss the nitro girls and mean gene's interviews after matches. I just plain miss wcw

It was when things like the Frontline fizzling out, Samoa Joe joining them, the angle becoming centered around Angle vs. Sting just to see who was in charge of the group, Mick Foley somehow stumbling into the World Title after all of this, etc. that people started turning on them. Basically it ran into the same problem almost every TNA Supergroup angle has had - they dragged it out way too long. It would've been much better remembered if they just wrapped it up at Lockdown and moved onto something new from there.

I thought, up until Mania, it was universally well liked and considered one of the strongest things the company had going. From what I recall, the consensus was that Daniel Bryan hating, gong hitting Michael Cole was entertaining as hell, it wasn't until the Jerry Lawler feud that his stock fell deeply. most, even non Daniel Bryan fans, felt that the Bryan hate got a little too overboard. I also think the Miz love at times just got too much. But yeah once they decided to stretch the feud past Mania people turned.

I don't watch a lot of TNA, but from what I've heard it sounds like they think the big money is the heel super group imploding from the inside, instead of being destroyed from the outside

Eugene was a solid gimmick, thing was it had a limited shelf-life, they should've segued Nick out of the gimmick rather than just letting it peter-out. Should've all been a rouge, have him turn on Benoit to get the title and turn-out he was in cahoots with "uncle Eric" all along to Bisch control of the strap. Dinsmore could come out on RAW the next night all cleaned-up in a suit cutting a heel promo about how he and Eric got over on everybody.

Kurgan. I win.
That and I'm pretty sure I was the only person in the building rooting for Mongo over Goldberg.

Men on a Mission. Not sure if they were hated as such but I have a soft spot for the duo.

I was also a HUGE fan of the Spirit Squad.. I thought the cheerleader gimmick was a perfect over-the-top-style gimmick. Those 5 guys seemed like they were totally into it and played it for everthing they could get out of it. It's a shame they got crapped on (pun super intended) for the gimmick from everyone. They really weren't given the proper chance to shine. When they were wrestling, I always looked forward to the trampoline spot. It added a really fun element to their matches. I really think that if they were given a better shot with the opportunity, every one of them could have been at least solid midcarders.

Stuff everyone hated, but I didn't... wow let's see...
I enjoyed Ultimate Warrior's WCW run, even though it was very short. I liked the idea of the OWN being the polar opposite of the NWO where individuality and being your OWN self were to be emphasized over the uniform collective mentality of the NWO. I also thought this was probably the most "fleshed-out," developed, and down-to-earth incarnation of the Warrior yet (yes. even with the smoke machines and mirror trickery). His promos, while long winded, actually made sense, and his purpose there was pretty clear, I thought.
I also enjoyed the Ultimate Warrior's comic. It was originally slated for 6 issues, but only 4 were made (not counting the infamous Xmas issue). Admittedly, the art was very over-the-top, and it was a little hard to follow at points, but I liked the message of one's greatest enemy being Themself, and conquering ourselves is essential to reaching ideals.
I will admit the Christmas issue was... well.. yeah. My theory is that the artist made it like that on purpose. It's no secret that Warrior and artist Jim Callahan were not getting along professionally, as evidenced by Warrior's angry rant against the guy in issue 4. So maybe Callahan snuck in the homoerotic overtones as a jab against Warrior?
I also really was a fan of Glacier. As a kid, I really enjoyed the martial arts (still do) and, as a result, I was a total mark for any wrestler that had a martial arts background. I also loved Mortal Kombat, and continued faithfully playing the series years after the fad died out.
I was also a David Flair fan, especially when he gave up being in his father's shadow, and decided to do things his own way. He was at his best when he was crazy, with Daphne, Crowbar, and Russo.
Speaking of Russo.. and here's where I really get hate from others, but I liked a lot of what he was doing in WcW, especially in 2000. I even liked him as an on-screen heel personality. He was the embodiment of all that traditional southern WcW fans loathe, and did a great job really playing that up.

Heel Michael Cole
John Cena's poopy jokes
Zack Ryder
Alex Riley's push
Hornswoggle as the RAW GM. It wasn't that big of a deal, and the Anonymous GM didn't really have a huge impact on WWE storylines. I just pretend he was only the GM for that one night.
The Miz's face turn.
The Miz's short lived psychotic heel phase
The Miz in general.
Drew McIntyre as the Chosen One.
Jinder Mahal in 3MB
Daniel Bryan not turning completely face.
Heel CM Punk.

How about this: Undertaker vs. Yokozuna from Royal Rumble 1994. Not a bad match before the 10 jobber run in, and that absurd finish at least led to increased heel heat for Yoko and further rematches later that year (which did pretty good business).
