Just something I've been wondering about. See, I greatly enjoyed 300 (though I've only watched it once, despite having the DVD somewhere or other) and the original Anchorman (a lot more than once, though unlike 300 never in theaters), but with the sequels.... Yeah, I don't have high hopes. Then there's Sin City, which I haven't seen but hey, fair's fair on including it here.
So, yeah. Which of these movies is most likely to be good? Again, don't know on Sin City, but from the other two... At least Anchorman has most of the original cast and the same writers so maybe, maybe if they don't just rehash the original it might deliver. 300 2 I think pretty much has no chance in hell of being anything but a poor imitation of the first, especially since you know it'll be trying to emulate the original's fight scenes but Snyder isn't involved with it.

How are they doing a sequel to 300? Everyone dies. They can focus on another battle, but its not really 300 then.

Alrighty then. Not interested. I saw 300 for the first time last week and loved it. It was so jam packed with action the movie just flew by.

Anchorman, though only by order of elimination as I'm not looking forward to the other two.

300's sequel sound good because I think it involves a giant Naval battle and is on a grand scale.
Anchorman is a bunch of comedians who were novel when the first came out, but now for the most part eye roll worthy, staging a search for more money comeback.
Sin City sounds like a train wreck.
