It went from being about what went wrong to good stuff they did. Such a weird damned article.

I was half-way through the article before I realized it wasn't by Seanbaby. The writer certainly seems to have been "inspired" by him though.

Luke McKinnon is a really terrible, unfunny and non-talented human being.

That was a really bad article. Especially the random mention of Pit Fighter. He also seemed to be mentioning Space Marine and Saints Row 3 just to yell at the worthless peons who didn't buy them.

I'm glad you guys thought the same thing as I did. I'm not big into video games so I thought maybe I just didn't understand something. I read the article and I was confused as to what coming out with good games had to do with a company going out of business.

Terrible article. It should have totally had the U-Draw and Homefront (U-Draw is probably the number one factor in THQ losing so much money) but also shouuld have bought up people like the Buttgoblin in it.

I think the entire point of the second half of the article was to say "yeah, see this stupid crap they did that totally explains why they went out of business? Well, here's some games that prove that they did good things, too, and why it's a shame that they went belly up." Not that it makes it better as an article, but I think that's what he was going for...

Not that it makes it better as an article, but I think that's what he was going for... To me that just screams that he ran out of good reasons once he crossed off uDraw and Homefront. Those were arguably the two biggest factors after all. One thing missing from the list is Red Faction: Armageddon. Sure those few people who gave the game a chance say they like the game, but for most of the people who like Red Faction: Guerilla, the game was too big of a change and its bombing helped sink THQ.

Wow. Just reading the uDraw portion, and this guy's unfunny jokes remind me of why I hate Family Guy. "*X* was worse than the time I *insert horrible pun here*"

Homefront was barely a reason, its sales were not that bad and it wasn't a big loser money wise.

Homefront was barely a reason, its sales were not that bad and it wasn't a big loser money wise. It wasn't too terrible of a game either I though, it wasn't the best thing ever but it wasn't entirely broken despite the hit detection being a bit wonky. My question is, how a story about a group of rebels fighting off an invading force could be considered "too patriotic," it's a fictional story asshole, get over it and learn how to write and/or be legitimately funny.

He tries to write in a Seanbaby style but most of his jokes get too meandering and confusing to be funny. I read his stuff on occasion but he's one of the worst regular columnists the site uses.
