Was surprised to see Kenzo Suzuki in the game. Electroshock's gimmick is awesome.

Damn, I wish someone would release a Travis Touchdown Figma or Figuarts or something of the like. It'd be awesome, but sadly, I think there are only just statues.

Sadly, they do not play the dancing match.

I liked Matt bringing up Punk's "Grammar Slam".

How is Pat still this terrible at the game? This is like GameGrumps levels of being bad when you should be mediocre at the least.

Part of me just hopes he's too distracted while "shooting the shit" with Matt. Whether or not he sucks still doesn't change that this is my favorite current playthrough of theirs. But dammit, Pat, get your shit together! Who crafts another molotov instead of a health pack when they 1. are at half health, 2. have NO health packs, and 3. already have TWO molotovs?!

Pat is more of an offensive player, aiming to kill everything in sight instead of surviving. He gets killed as often as he does because he's busy killing things he shouldn't kill instead of healing himself and move onto the next stage. Now that Pat is playing this and both of the secondary playthroughs are over, what game they should play next?

That said, I do cut Pat slack for dying a lot since it's not easy to try to have a conversation and keep entertaining while playing. If he was just playing at home by himself, which he has refused to do so as to be fresh for the story events, I am sure he'd be doing better.

Attitude is so terrible. It at least has a decent-ish roster, much better than Warzone's, but it's really pretty much gilding a shriveled, rotting lily. Only good memory I have of this game is giving CAWs the Oddities theme.

Watching Pat drop the axe, pick up a baseball bat, and then UPGRADE IT. I just don't even know. Also, shit's getting real.

I know Pat makes a lot of mistakes, but it actually makes me way more interested in the game than if he did everything flawlessly. It shows that the game gives you a fair shot at handling different situations in different ways, and has a forgiving enough checkpoint system, to let you experiment a little without being automatically f***ed in certain situations.

I think that's why I really like it. I mean yeah, it's annoying watching Pat screw up something that you're screaming at the screen for him to do. But you easily forget it once you seem him eventually learn and adapt from his mistakes, and watch him clutch it out. The LAST thing I want is to see him run right through a level flawlessly, as if he's doing a speed run or something. This goes for every other LPer on Youtube. He doesn't have to be perfect, but there are some things that are CLEARLY right in front of his face that he totally misses, all because he's talking about something off-topic that Matt brought up. That's where the problem lies for me. But again, the positives far outweigh that one negative.

I don't even remember the context, but Matt saying "This one's for you Morph!" in reference to the X-Men cartoon still makes me laugh when it pops into my head.

I don't know, maybe this says something to my own level of gaming or something, but I didn't think Pat did bad at all in that last episode. The axe/bat thing is the only thing I scratched my head at. The rest of it was him testing out strategies, sometimes of which only backfired because he got nervous and/or didn't do what he should've in terms of controlling Joel.
While I admit some of the previous entries have had a few frustrating spots, it's never been as bad to me as Woolie, who outright ignores advice & just charges like a bull head first till he wins by pure luck and/or pure brute force and then resumes his bragging of "skill". Or, Matt, who sometimes can be so foolish in his decisions that you want to slam your head against a desk. And, I feel like it's been over blown when we have things like No More Heroes 2 sitting right next to this play through.

This last episode wasn't that big of a deal, but his absurd decisions in the last episode or two prior to it are more of what I mean, like making a third molotov when he had no health kits. That move, while less funny, is also much dumber than the axe down the hole.

Honestly, I feel Pat's only issue is that he doesn't scavenge enough. He'll completely walk past an area that more than likely has loot, even after he looks at that general direction. But then again, I can understand not devoting all of his time scavenging, as they are doing this for entertainment, and wasting time looking for parts could probably get old, even though I personally think their commentary can make even THAT entertaining.
And yeah, NMH2 ended up totally blowing. It started off pretty good, but then the non-boss fights got repetitive, Woolie's stubbornness really started to show, and Liam added absolutely nothing of interest to the commentary as usual. Matt was just being Matt, geeking out over the game.
