Over the past few weeks, I haven't seen any mention of Sheamus being called The Great White, while The Celtic Warrior nickname has been pushed once again in it's place.
All I have to say is that God, because that was literally a horrible nickname.

What was funny for all of the wrong reasons was when they were putting him over as the Great White he was eliminating all of the black guys from battle royals.

What a terrible nickname for a good wrestler. Calling him "Great White Shark" would have been better as it would've tapped into paleness and fierceness, but just calling him "Great White" just sounds like some Neo-Nazi propaganda.

It looks more like a T shirt for the band Great White than it does a Sheamus shirt. Dreadful nickname that will not be missed.

The only semi-decent thing that came from the nickname was the name "White Noise" for his finisher, and that's only because it reminds me of a 60s experimental electronic music group formed by members of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Matthews called Kofi a Wildcat tonight.
That said, it is still kinda dumb.
Though I do miss nicknames that were part of the entrance name. Such days as Bret "Hit Man" Hart, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jake "The Snake" Roberts and such.
