Or at least, I think it was a Disney cartoon since it was on a Disney VHS.
I cannot remember much of it. It was set in a Western town. The protagonist was a muscle-packed blond-haired guy with a big chin. He had a plan of building a desert ship (or a sky ship? I don't know anymore). There was a love interest named Molly (or Polly) that always got sent away by her father (was he the mayor?). The ship got built and on the maiden voyage, a storm came up taking the ship, the protagonist and the love interest (who had sneaked up on board) with it. The short ended with all the townspeople being old and miserable while the protagonist and his love interest sailed happily through the desert (or the sky). It also had a song in which there was a "Yippie Aye Yeah and a Yo Ho Ho" I think.
Anybody know what I am talking about?

That'd be "The Saga of Windwagon Smith".

Holy crap, I remember that one!! Is it bad that I actually REMEMBER that one?
Then again, I was the one that brought up The Impossibles in the MLP thread.

No, it is nothing bad as I remembered it too (though that really must have been the first time in over fifteen years that I have seen that one).
