Is it bad that I honestly don't care about tonight's game? I mean, I'll probably watch it, but I have no interest in it whatsoever. Nope, I don't really care about it either, I'm getting the feeling that a lot of people don't. Not a lot of buzz for it in my observations. Eh I don't know. I think theres more buzz around it then last year. Anyway I got the 49ers taking it 28-24. Frank Gore gets the MVP.

Thinking 31-24 49ers. Kaepernick throws for two touchdowns and runs for one.

The most overrated one has to be Brady against the Panthers with was a minute left, all timeouts and John Kasay kicked it out of bounds to put him on the 40. In a game that defenses ceased to exist. Oh yeah, that's a brutally overrated drive, but I didn't include it in my initial post because I knew how overrated it was. I think historically it's remembered mostly for the deja vu factor, in how it was Brady leading his team to a go-ahead Adam Vinatieri field goal two years after he did it against the Rams, as opposed to being a legendary drive. What amazed me is how difficult the Patriots made that drive seem. Prior to Troy Brown's offensive pass interference penalty pushed them back onto their side of the 50, the Patriots had the ball at the Carolina 26 with 47 seconds left and two timeouts. After that penalty, they kind of bogged themselves down, and if Deion Branch doesn't come up with that big 17-yard catch on 3rd and 3, Vinatieri is forced to attempt a 58-yard field goal.

Is it bad that I honestly don't care about tonight's game? I mean, I'll probably watch it, but I have no interest in it whatsoever. Apparently as far as ticket brokering goes, it's the worst Super Bowl in 20 years as far as demand goes. I'm actually surprised about that. I know the Ravens are very much a regional team, but I thought the Niners had a ton of national appeal. I guess their fanbase doesn't travel well? I mean I'll still watch it because it's the Super Bowl. The only way I wouldn't watch it is if it was the Cowboys and the Jets playing or something. And I think this has the potential to be a good game of football for people that aren't Niners or Ravens fans. But I'm nowhere near as excited as I was last year. Then again I'm a Giants fan so that's to be expected.

I know I'm probably the only one that's into it but if you check into the Super Bowl Get Glue page before kick off, you get special sticker and one month of Hulu Plus.

The only thing that concerns me about the pure watchability of tonight's game is last Thanksgiving's 49ers at Ravens game. 16-6 Baltimore. It was one of the most painfully boring football games I've ever watched. It set offensive football back generations. It was what I'd imagine the 1952 NFL Championship Game would've looked like.

It was also coming off maybe what? 3-4 days preparation? Thursday Night Games usually suck.

I think the only chance Baltimore has is if they somehow keep this a low scoring game. If it becomes a shoot out, 49ers have it won. Not even the Patriots could beat them in a shoot out.

If you aren't excited to see Kaepernick maybe usher in a new era of offensive style, then I don't know.

I have a feeling this game will be tight until midway through the third quarter. Kaepernick will gash Baltimore with two quick TD's then Frank Gore will take over the game.

The key differences are: - Thursday night games suck - Both teams had much worse offenses and much better defenses than they do now. I'll say this. If this game is close and comes down to a battle of special teams, Baltimore wins this game. Frisco's special teams this year are hideous.

If you aren't excited to see Kaepernick maybe usher in a new era of offensive style, then I don't know. Kapernick is really good and has put up some amazing numbers but he's the most boring of the new breed of QBs to me. I find RGIII and Russell Wilson infinitely more entertaining.

Man I'm so excited! It's been 18 long years since our last Superbowl and I remember it like it was yesterday!
