I guess the 62% that are voting "Yes" are taking into account that Rock will probably wrestle twice in 434 days.
So as long as he can win those two matches, then sure.

I refuse to believe that 59 percent of people really think Rock will beat Punk's title reign.
His longest reign was from June 25th, 2000 to October 22nd, 2000. 119 days by my count.
434 days compared to 119 days. Come on people.
I'm not sure Rock has had even had 434 days as champion altogether, including his "WCW" title reigns in 2001.

I don't think the poll is about length. I think "eclipse" is being used as "overshadow" here. Like, even if it's a 13 day reign, will people remember it more than they remembered Punk's reign?

In terms of being a better fit for the company, absolutely.

You are correct as there is no doubt that is what they meant and how most of the voters in the poll take it as well. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/eclipseIt could be used both ways but they are indeed talking about overshadowing Punk's run. |
