I think Muse should do it next year. They always put on a good show and I can only imagine the spectacle they would put on at the Super Bowl. Muse is probably the best live band of our generation, but they wouldn't do a Super Bowl halftime show unless they can do everything live. No lip syncing. No backing tracks. I don't like Muse but I respect this about them. I love that they went on an Italian TV show and made a mockery of the whole backing track process.

*looks thru thread*
Wait, so was I the only one who knew that it'd be a Destiny's Child reunion? When they first announced Beyonce, I'm rather certain they said "and Destiny's Child." In fact, I didn't even think it would just be her - I figured the whole routine would be all 3 of them.
I've seen a LOT of people screaming about the "surprise" of Rowlands and Hudson being there - even news reports were acting like it was a last minute thing, but in fact it was announced way back.

I was kind of surprised that people thought it was a surprise too, as my wife had told me before halftime even started that she had been hearing for a while that they were going to be there. I just hope whomever it is, we get more black girls dancing. If the Super Bowl halftime show turned out to be Brodus Clay dancing to his theme song, I would have to pull a "Poochie" and rocket from the earth because nothing in life could ever top that.
