From 2007-2009, if you could pick one match which one would it be? There are a lot that come to my mind, I was a Hardy mark anyway but the run he had at that time was insane and he was having tons of excellent matches week after week. I truly believe that if he was clean and stayed in the company until he retires that he would have taken over Cenas spot of being "the guy", because he was that over, had multiple World and WWE championships on his regime and was having the best matches of his career. I will tentatively say vs John Morrison on that SD episode for the WHC as my current choice, but it changes regularly. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn_v0Ss-Aws

Hardy vs. HHH at No Mercy 2008 is hard to top.

I was going to say the cage match with Umaga, but now that you mention it, yeah, the Morrison match.
Damn, Morrison was awesome in 2009.

I have to say my favorite match is when he faced Burials at No Mercy, his RAW match against Shawn, and I forgot the ladder match where he won the title and Punk cashed in on him.
I think he was facing Edge if I am not mistaken.

I know you specifically said to pick one match, but I just can't. I love all four of these matches from his second run:
12/17/06 - Ladder Match: Paul London & Brian Kendrick/The Hardys/MNM/William Regal & Dave Taylor (Armageddon)
10/5/08 – Jeff Hardy/Triple H (No Mercy)
6/7/09 – Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy/Edge (Extreme Rules)
8/23/09 – TLC Match: Jeff Hardy/CM Punk (SummerSlam)

Damn, Morrison was awesome in 2009.I remember we used to have a Match of the Week poll here in 2009, and he won almost every damn one of them for months. Morrison was truly top notch then. I'm glad he got the Hardy WHC match, but it's a shame it wasn't him facing Punk for the WHC instead of Undertaker.

It's a shame Morrison's DVD sold so poorly, because the match listing reads like a goldmine of forgotten 2009 classics.

The falls count anywhere match which ended with a Whisper in the Wind off a truck against Umanga was pretty awesome.

So many. Jeff was superb in his second run, to the point where he made me an apologist regarding his antics for a while. I thought he could have really cemented his status as a permanent WWE star.
I wish he'd come back often, if he could keep his troubles to a minimum. The matches he'd have with Bryan alone would be a sight.

I remember after a certain point, the polls said "aka the Jeff Hardy award", or something like that. Jeff Hardy vs Shawn Michaels at the start of 2008 was really good. Jeff won clean, too...

I truly do believe if he had stayed, the Cena heel turn would've already happened most likely too. Jeff was one of the most over main event faces, had a unique look that wasn't too over the top and yet accessible for kids, and was selling a lot of merchandise in the process. I can see Jeff returning to the WWE in about two or three years though. Maybe less than that.
