Well I guess if Easy Bake Ovens can become unisex, so can NERF weapons.

Why bother?
NERF toys are good for anyone. Do they really need to put pink on a bow and declare it usable for girls?
Man, f*** that.

Well, there are young girls that like both frilly stuff and action play, so that's pretty shrewd.

I see that thing and immediately think Natalya should start carrying it to the ring with her.

I don't get it. Are the existing guns too manly for girls to handle?

Little late on the Hunger Games cash in. This was my immediate thought when I saw the bow too.

Why do they bring out all the cool NERF guns when I'm too old to play with them? ;_;

Little late on the Hunger Games cash in. To be fair, it'll be in time for the sequel film this coming fall.

I'm kind of torn about this. I think this toy looks cool as hell and I may even buy one for myself. Pink, black, and silver are my favorite colors. However, I'm sick of how gendered toys are nowadays. Frankly, I think it would be cheaper and better for PR to just throw some girls in the regular NERF commercials.

I kind of agree, but working with kids it is evident that boys and girls often want to play with the same stuff in different ways. And they want it to be identified with them at least a little bit.
