Pretty healthy. I try to avoid refined foods as much as possible except for a protein shake for my workout routine.

Fairly healthy since when I began my lifestyle change. I've quit soda and eat a lot more fruits, vegetables, and cottage cheese. I rarely eat out now and the same food doesn't have the same taste (like domino's pizza). I do eat a lot of frozen meals such as healthy choice and tai pei (their general tso's chicken is fairly good). I know those are high in sodium, but they're easy to make and quick. I don't eat deserts, but I still get high fructose corn syrup through my salad dressing (catalina fat free) and cereal (chocalate mini wheats). My salads are mostly lettuce, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, celery and onions with imitation bacon bits with chicken strips for protein. I try to get a lot more protein from skim milk, chicken, and cottage cheese. I try to limit my meals to 500 calories and below with three meals and a snack at night. I tend to cheat on Sundays.
With exercise and my changed eating habits I've lost at least 30 lbs so far.

Damn, with the way some people are describing their diets, I really wonder if I am doing it all wrong.

Not bad, not perfect. I've almost completely cut out soda, rarely ever eat pastries or sweets. Replaced sandwich bread with flat bread. No longer drink as I did during depression a year ago, but still enjoy a beer or two when out with friends, at least once a week a glass of red wine while soaking in a hot bath, on in a great while a glass of fine bourbon. Still let myself eat something indulgent like a bacon cheeseburger once a week, usually after work on Friday as a way of celebrating the weekend. Need to add more fruit and veggies, dusting off my power juicer to help. Working out three days a week and take my vitamins every morning.

Quite good now, I used to eat crap non stop (Burgers, KFC, Chip Shop, Fizzy pop) nowdays it's stuff like
- Jaffa Cakes - Danish Bread - Cranberry/Orange Juice - Fruit
Whenever I eat Takeout it's mainly Subway (Ham/Turkey & Cheese).
The most unhealthy thing I eat is maybe an oreo Crushem one a week

What diet? I mostly eat pizza, chicken strips, ramen, 3-4 cans of soda a day, fried rice.. lots of fatty foods and the sort.
Also, I weigh 158 pounds and am 5'11.

Damn, with the way some people are describing their diets, I really wonder if I am doing it all wrong. I wonder if I'm doing it wrong sometimes too. I eat healthier and get an apple and banana in daily, but I know my diet still weighs heavy on carbs and fats. If I want to build muscle after hitting my weight goal I know I'll need more reliance on protein and making my meals more.

my AM meal alternates between a Bel Vita Breakfast Biscuit and a Dunkin Donuts Turkey Sausage, Egg white on an english muffin and a large iced coffee w/ extra skim milk
My lunch is whatever the hell I want, usually pretty bad.
My dinner is vegan. No rhyme or reason to why but my wife and I decided to do it. I have the worst gas on this.
And I like craft beer.

If I want to build muscle after hitting my weight goal I know I'll need more reliance on protein and making my meals more. One thing I must say is that from the start of the year, after noticing that I put on some weight during the holidays, I decided to cut back on soda, chips, cookies, etc. I will have some chips and some sweets or fast food on occasion. Regarding fast food and chips, I know it's not good for anybody, but sometimes I justify my consumption by telling myself "this doesn't happen often." I mostly eat baked chips or Pop Chips, or even those cracker chips that Kellogg's puts out. As for regular chips, I only have some of those occasionally because I know that they are fattening, but it's not bad to cheat once in a while. I dropped a few pounds in the process. I have only had two halves of cups of soda within the past couple of months. When I go out to eat, I usually have water or even Hi-C as a substitute. Yes, I know Hi-C has sugar, but it isn't as high as soda. I will still say this: I still like burgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc. I know that they aren't good for me, but I think it's best to have something of this nature every once in a while. Besides, usually when I have burgers, it's mostly home cooked, not fast food.

I basically eat between healthy and total crap. I try to get away with whatever I can while still losing weight in the process. If I can eat fast food here and there, make nachos or pizza, etc. in between eating a healthy wrap, tofu, banana or a salad while maintaining/losing my weight through exercising, I'm going to do it. The balance works pretty well for me, I've found. I lower my intake of crap and exercise for 40-45 minutes every night sans Monday. When I notice I've either kept the exact same or gained a pound, I eat a little smarter.

Besides, usually when I have burgers, it's mostly home cooked, not fast food. Well it's important to cheat on a meal every now and again. Personally I tend to know what's better and worse for me by examining the nutrition content. Typically if the fat calories are half or more of the product I don't eat it. Also the serving size is a big hint. I really wish food was allocated more by it's serving size. Of course, that means a lot smaller items for the fatty foods.

I don't think my diet is that terrible. I eat fast food (pizza mostly) more than I should, but I try to get meats, grains, and fruit in my meals. My biggest problem is soda though, but I get out and walk a lot to try and work that off.

When I started losing weight, I kept a food journal and really paid attention to calorie counts.
I don't do fast food unless it's the ONLY thing around or I'm out with someone who can't afford otherwise (and won't let me buy).
I drink diet soda (for the caffeine) but usually lots of water through the day.
so my diet is mostly lean meats (bison, pork, chicken), rice(not white), veggies of all kinds (but partial to onions, bell peppers and mushrooms), fruit early in the day (usually bananas or clementine oranges), and other healthy proteins (GNC stuff, greek yogurt).
Healthy bars have come a LONG way, so I usually have a bunch of those in my fridge or my desk if I don't have time to make something.
My lunch during the week is usually a big salad with a lean protein (the imitation crabmeat) and some vinegrette.
I don't work out as much as I used to but I've maintained since I moved to MN.
