What if this episode has another hidden element, like how the S2 finale caught everyone off guard with the Changelings? Kind of doubt it. This being a single episode they'll be hard pressed to do both the cutie mark/destiny swapping plot AND Twilight's coronation as it is without either feeling rushed. So throwing in another, hidden, element would be way too much. They are already cramming two episodes worth of content into a singular one. We don't need anything else thrown in now. |

I mean when you think about it, "Winter Wrap Up" and "Smile" are somewhat childish. ...either that or they were just spoiled by "This Day Aria". |

I'll just wait till I see the episode to listen to the whole song, as I tried listening to it, but it just seems like one of those songs that needs the accompanying visuals for it to work. I mean it sounds good from what I heard, but with all the talking from the characters mixed in, it needs the visuals for me.
Also, speaking of the song and the amount of content they are cramming into a 22 minute episode, this song itself is 3.5 minutes long. That is a substantial chunk of time from an episode that is already looking to have pacing issues, IMO.
