I always thought Cesar Romero was a great Campy Joker. Then I remembered that I thought Jack was a Great Overall Joker. Then I remembered how Heath was a great Crazy Joker.
The Joker in Film has been blessed with great acting no matter what direction they go with the character. Any other reoccurring characters (with multiple actors)in Film that seem to avoid crappy acting/writing?
My wife said James Bond, and although I agree...there seems to be plenty of hate spread around for all Bonds not named Connery.

Jack Ryan's had a good run. Baldwin, Ford, Affleck (not the BEST portrayal, but serviceable) and Chris Pine next in line.

Batman usually has quality guys playing/voicing him. Michael Keaton's a solid all around talent, Christian Bale's capable of great stuff, Adam West is hilarious, Kevin Conroy fits him like a glove, and even though their movies weren't the best, Clooney and Kilmer were far from the worst things about them.

I actually thought both Clooney and Kilmer were pretty good Bruce Waynes.

The actors who have played Dracula:
Max Schreck, Béla Lugosi, John Carradine, Christopher Lee, Francis Lederer, Denholm Elliott, Jack Palance, Louis Jourdan, Frank Langella, Klaus Kinski, Gary Oldman, Leslie Nielsen, George Hamilton, Keith-Lee Castle, Gerard Butler, Richard Roxburgh, Marc Warren, Rutger Hauer, Stephen Billington and Dominic Purcell.
Pretty good resume if you ask me.

Count Dracula, IMO.
Yes there are a few bad Dracula actors, but when you consider the sheer number of films with Dracula in it, it is hard for them all to be winners.
If you stick to the films based on Stoker's novel, though, all the Dracula's were great.

I've really liked all the various actors playing the Sheriff of Nottingham over the years, Pat Buttram in the Disney film, Alan Rickman in Prince of Thieves, Roger Rees in Men in Tights, and Keith Allen in the BBC series.
