The song's well known but it's unlikely that most people in the audience at those events would know the artist. I bet if more people knew who that singer was and what he got up to, it would be played a lot less. Without a doubt. I feel uncomfortable whenever I hear it at high school games or during things like the Little League World Series.

Chris Brown, partially because of his own actions and partially because for some sick reason he has an army of apologists.

Chris Brown easily. Just off the top of my head:
-He severely beats his girlfriend and threatened to kill her -Acts like he has zero respect for women -He has a tattoo of a battered woman on his neck -Dressed as a member of the Taliban for Halloween
And lately, its come out that he didn't even serve his court-order community service and bribed the cops to get out of it.

Sad part, is that half of the people who heard that song probably think it was done by Queen or another British band.

Out of all the Kardashians I gotta say Kris Jenner is a pointless bint What about "Brotox" Bruce Jenner? Just because he wins a gold medal in 1976, he thinks he can be a motivational speaker? Nuts to that. You know who I want to give me a motivational speech? Oksana Baiul. She won the gold inspite of the stupid media's love affair with Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding.

Actually the lack of Bruce Jenner is why I never watched that show. Same with Hanna Montana, not enough Billy Ray Cyrus.

I will pile onto the chris brown train. He didn't just hit a woman, he acts like he did nothing wrong. And his fans will let you know that too.

Yeah, Chris Brown is probably the only person that gets legitimately hate. I think people these days just... accept Justin Bieber and move on, but Chris Brown really does appear to relish in being an immense douche.

Kim Kardashian seems to have picked up most of the haters (sorry, I really can't think of a better term at the moment) that Paris Hilton lost when she...pretty much fell off the face of the Earth. I mean, the story is pretty similar. Both made sex tapes and launched them into superstardom, and most people see that as undeserving of fame. She hasn't really done anything terrible, necessary, but famous for being famous just angers people. I still wouldn't call her the most hated Pop Culture figure, though. That's got to be Bieber. Justin Bieber: Making Rock and Metal fans insecure about their own musical interests since 2009. That last sentence makes no sense whatsoever. Why would Justin Bieber make me insecure about the music I love ? I don't know anything about him, have heard NONE of his music and he does not register on my social radar whatsoever. Maybe not you, but to the thousands of Rock and Metal lovers who can't seem to help but leave comments like "THE DISLIKE BAR IS JUSTEN BEEBER'Z PENIS!!!!1" "Justin Biebers a awful musician! THUMS UP FOR REAL MUSIC!!!" and "THIS MUSIC IS MUCH BETTER THAN JUSTIN BIEBER! SOCIETY MAKES ME SICK! LEMMY FOR PRES!" It's pretty obvious that Bieber makes them insecure in some way - and it's enough to hinder their music listening experience.

And don't forget his girlfriend, who is a great role model for young girls teaching them that it's perfectly ok to stay with a violent maniac. I don't wanna go around blaming abuse victims for being victims, but when it involves the famous case of an independently wealthy celebrity who has clearly demonstrated she has the willpower and ability to leave the situation if she wants to she gradually starts to look less like a victim and more like an enabler and a bad role model.

It's pretty obvious that Bieber makes them insecure in some way - and it's enough to hinder their music listening experience. I think comments like you quoted are more likely bitterness because rock music like that Lemmy made with Motorhead is pretty much dead to the mainstream, while Bieber's wildly popular. Not insecurity. I'm not a fan of Bieber's music, and I also dislike what I've seen of him because he often comes off as an arrogant douchebag. Kind of like Chris Brown minus the abusiveness.

That is the issue for me. She was out of the relationship and had plenty of time and money to get any help needed. Plus she had plenty of resources to keep Chris away from her if that was an issue. It is not blaming the victim to recognize that you can't just say "must have Stockhom/Battered Person Syndrome" and absolve her of any responsibility for her own actions. Reality is that she is a victim AND a person that made a crappy life choice. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.
