The Veggie kind, not the needle kind.
I'm thinking about trying it to replace a meal or two a day. Any experiences?

As a Meal Replacement? No.
As a supplement, Yes.
Go for flavor first, then consider nutrition. If you can't get past the taste it won't matter how "good" it is for you.
Apple/Pear juice is a good base as it blends well with other fruits Veggies. Bananas are great to Thicken the overall product, and Protein Powders can give the lacking protein not usually found in vegetable matter.....(Whey is Vegetarian Friendly, Soy Protein is Vegan Friendly)
I do Juice Supplements due to my dialysis. I'm limited on my overall fluid intake, so I try to mak the fluids I DO take in more.....impactful.

i started juicing recently, I normally juice cucumbers, carrots, apples,ginger and celery. It tastes decent, but I dont use it as a meal replacement rather as a supplement. It does help with food cravings and keeps me full for a while also lots and lots of energy . you should check out fat, sick and nearly dead. Great documentary about juicing and weight loss- its on hulu.

I use my power juicer a few times a week, sometimes in place of a post workout protein drink. I use more fruit than vegetables for the taste. I sometimes pour a little sparkling mineral water into my jui e so it's like a champagne drink.

I have a juicer that I've never used. I've looked up some recipes but it never seems like it would produce much juice. How many pieces of fruits and/or veggies usually go into a batch for you?

I've been thinking about it but I'm not sure if I'll do it or not. I'll more than likely try it as a supplement and/or a meal replacement before I go on a full juicing fast. Something tells me going straight into a fast might not work out that well for me.

Be very careful with this sort of thing. Egoraptor mentioned that a juice fast he tried left him genuinely depressed after less than a week. A very abrupt change to your diet can be dangerous.

My advice: Slowly transition into a new diet that you're not used to. I can tell you from personal experience that going onto a diet head on without giving your body any warning will mess up your mood at the very least, other really bad health problems at worst.
NEVER go into a new diet full stop. Slowly transition into it.
