Nazem Kadri is going HAM on the Islanders tonight. 4-2 Leafs after two and Kadri has a hat trick.

This may sound like a homer to you but I don't care but J. Schultz is a future Norris Trophy winner

12 seconds for the Blackhawks to go up on St. Louis in the first period. Not bad.
Corey Crawford only playing the first period, getting replaced by Ray Emery, and not being on the bench during the second? Potentially pretty bad.

Emery is a f***ing FREAK. He deserves a statue outside of the UC for this power play alone.

Rangers complete the series sweep of the Lightning and win 4-1. Rick Nash made a big impact in his 1st game back from injury.

Looks like we may have prematurely crowned the Devils.
They are in a real slump.

Nazem Kadri is going HAM on the Islanders tonight. 4-2 Leafs after two and Kadri has a hat trick. What happened after.... the Leafs came dangerously close to handing New York the win. The Isles tied it up by scoring two unanswered, sending it to OT. Luckily, Cap'n Dion had the OT winner.

TWENTY. A load of pundits had the Blues winning this one to stop the momentum. Glad the Blackhawks didn't listen.
Columbus tonight. Both games with them this season have been tight, but hopefully we'll get our third win of the season against them.
Not surprised that the Avs matched the O'Reilly offer, but I thought it would take a few days.

An interesting debate came up - some people are downgrading what the Blackhawks have achieved in this streak, as they've only played Western Conference teams. A pool of 14 opponents instead of 29. I'd argue that this makes it better as it's concentrated amongst the teams Chicago are battling with for playoff seedings, who will be their main opposition in the playoffs. The East is something we should not concern ourselves with right now.

Kinda funny that Colorado coming back and defeating Calgary last night mirrored the Avs matching the O'Reilly offer that the Flames had in principle.

Bruins win a close one against the Senators. Props to Ottawa for playing so well and so tough with bodies missing.
Awfully officiated 3rd period/OT though

The Sens have surprisingly been doing decent, despite missing guys like Erik Karlsson and Jason Spezza. (As a Leafs fan, i can admit that.)
