i wonder if we will get an IC title match at wm29. remember when that meant something ? Chris Jericho is the wildcard in this situation. It depends on what they want to do with him to get him on the card. His original rumoured matches against Ryback and later Henry are off the table since they seem set to fight each other, so if he doesn't fight Ziggler again, then he'll probably get one of the midcard title shots against Barrett or Cesaro.

So is there any way that Punk beats Undertaker now? I don't see how they can end the streak right after Paul's passing. It's going to be a very emotional match.

I can't see Punk going over. But it seems weird to go to 21-0.

This is the best matches/outcomes I could come up with...
WWE Championship: The Rock (c) vs. John Cena (Cena wins. Hints a heel turn that slowburns till at least till Summerslam)
World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger (Del Rio wins, then Ziggler cashes in and wins the world title)
Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (HHH gets is win back, setting up a rubber match HITC at Extreme Rules with Lesnar winning)
Undertaker vs. CM Punk (No body is ending the streak)
Tag Team Championship: R-Truth/Kingston (c) vs. Rhode Scholars vs. Mysterio/Cara vs. Barret/Cesaro (Daniels finally turns, costing them the titles to the team they won the titles from. Setting up a four way, Mysterio is protected by having seven other guys in the match. Cesaro/Baret win and leave with all the gold.)
Kane vs. Daniel Bryan (Can go either way, since it continues for a few months)
Street Fight: Big Show, Orton, Sheamus vs. The Shield (Orton turns and costs his team the match, goes on to feud with Sheamus. The Sheild continues to be undefeated.)
Divas Championship: Kaitlyn (c) vs. AJ (AJ wins, after Kaitlyn misses a spear. AJ winning and losing to Jericho is what fuels the fire to Ziggler cashing in)
Dolph Zigger vs. Chris Jericho (Jericho wins. Which lets this fued continue for the title. Swagger/Del Rio can continue with out the title)
Ryback vs. Mark Henry (Ryback eats a big meal.)
Fandango vs. The Miz (Miz interviews Fandango on Miz TV setting up this match, Fandango gets a cheap win.)
Pre-Show Free Match: Khali/Santino/Ryder/Clay/Tenisi vs. 3MB/Prime Time Players (Who cares faces win.)

X8 had 11 Matches. WWE can pull it off with out feeling rushed. Take out the concerts and the backstage crap. I don't see Rock/Cena going another 30 minutes, and I have a feeling Taker isn't in good enough shape to give us another epic. The middle of the card can be done in 16 minutes or less, and normally most of the undercard under 10 minutes.

I really doubt a Divas title match will happen.

New Wrestlemania theme (at least for Taker/Punk): Bones by Young Guns.

New Wrestlemania theme (at least for Taker/Punk): Bones by Young Guns. That's a bit more like it WWE! Though Bones by Ms Mr would have also really suited the match and Undertaker especially (its heard on the Game of Thrones Season 3 trailer) It's just so dark and mythical, yet is a contemporary. I think it could have really suited as Taker's theme this year, especially when it picks up at the chorus.

Some pictures of a pre-assembled set {Spoiler} {Spoiler}Seems in line with what I was expecting (a mini version on NYC) and I hope that stuff is white because it has yet to be painted, they're going to project stuff on it or there's a video element that has yet to be added.

Punk beats Taker, takes a shit in the urn midring, then yells "I AM A HEEL" into a megaphone for the duration of the broadcast.
Then gets CM Punk chants anyway

So what you guys think will close Wrestlemania, Rock vs Cena or will Hunter take the spotlight and put himself vs Brock as the final match?

Either ending (a likely Cena victory or a stunning Rock win) more or less demands being the final image, at least in the WWE's eyes.

I have a feeling this board will crash if the streak is ever broken. I love Punk, but I don't think it is right this year (or arguably any year/final year next year?), especially on a 5 week build. They have a ton of work to do to make Punk legit in the next few weeks.
I think the final match this year will be decided depending on the quality of the build for the 3 main mainevents. I don't see any way Brock vs HHH goes last, I think this is entirly between Punk/Taker and Cena/Rock II on who goes on last.
FYI for all UK fans that haven't seen, the event is priced at £17.95 on Sky, I wonder if this will be the same for all Manias in the future now...

WWE can pull it off with out feeling rushed. They will. They won't. They will. As it pertains to time; whether or not the match quality fits the time given, the match will go 30 minutes. They will, and this is will probably include the entrances. I know a lot of people are trying to cover their bases by saying "They'd better not do __________." now, so they would have more reason to complain later, but let's be honest here. It's WrestleMania. The show is more about pageantry than it is wrestling. There will be 1 or two excellent in-ring matches, but really the idea is to present the biggest and best atmosphere possible and make the crowd pop as much as they can with moments, memorable or not. Any wishing for 11 matches with no backstage comedy segments or video packages, even a Brodus/Tensai dancing bit in the ring is either delusional or maybe someone with bigger expectations than they should.

I find it hilarious that people think they're going to fit in so many matches. They won't. If anything it'll be worse with the non wrestling stuff than last year.
Oddly enough the only potential match I'm interested in is Henry/Ryback. Two large warships colliding for no other reason than because they passed each other. I see Henry winning that too.

So... let's think about the card then. Here's what seems fairly set in stone: Cena/Rock HHH/Brock Undertaker/Punk The Celtic Viper Show/The Shield Ryback/Henry Del Rio/Swagger Six matches. Going by the last two Wrestlemanias, we should get two more. At a minimum, the remaining people who I'd expect to see on the card are: Kane Daniel Bryan Chris Jericho Rey Mysterio (if healthy) The Miz Dolph Ziggler (even if it's only to make a cash-in attempt at the WHC) There's also the divas, but considering WWE seems to be giving even less of a damn about the divas than they usually do, I could see them off the card.

I think a Divas Championship match will get the YouTube pre-show spot. The only other thing I could see going there is if Kane and Bryan drop the tag titles before Mania, have their blowoff match on the main card and the remainder of the tag division (Rhodes/Sandow, Kofi/Truth, Prime Time Players or maybe New Age Outlaws) have a title match in the pre-show.

I think Jericho will be on the card one or another as well. I can't see them bringing him back during Mania season and not use him on the card. It's possible but I think he'll be there somehow.
