I'm not sure if it was strictly Canadian or not. And I wanna say it's from the mid to late 90s. It's about Criminals being like roaches who scurry away from light. So keep your porch light on to detour crime. Or something like that.
Anyone remember it?

I've been looking, but I can't find hardly anything - save for some seriously f***ed up Canadian workplace accident PSAs. It'll take a while to get those images out of my head.
Anyway, I'm kind of confused about the message, though, because most 90's PSAs I can find tend to be talking about saving energy, and one telling people to keep their porch light on would seem to go against that. I was thinking maybe it was a "keep a light on when you leave" type deal, but you put that in and all you get are Motel 6 ads.
Can you remember anything more about it at all, like what company produced it? Because it seems like Concerned Children's Advertisers do 99% of any Canadian PSAs that have ever existed, but I can't find one from them that matches your description.

I'm really not sure about the company but it may not be Canadian. The very reason I'm looking for it is because it goes against energy conservation. I remember a dude in a leather coat about to creep up to someones door. Then the porch light comes on and he runs away.
