Okay, so it wasn't made just for The Rock. Really like the sideplates - and I'd like the main plate it if were completely plated, as opposed to having that huge background on it. would the logo stand out enough on a colored backgorund, though?

It's ugly... why is it ugly? I do like the interchangeable side plates though. If WWE give each champ personalised ones that would be cool.

I think if you make the red blue it will look alot better I feel if the blue was a bit like on the attitude title, and only the spiral globe was blue, while everything else was gold like the one poster's quick photoshop it would like nice

I have to admit that it's growing on me, especially when I saw the title lineage thread and could compare it to the spinner, I realized that it is a significant improvement.

Its not perfect, but a change was long overdue. There is no going back to the eagle belt, so get used to it people.

The big black emptiness behind the WWE logo really drags it down. This is what most of my friends said about the title. And I agree.

I think it's ok. But as a mark for the WWE Championship I am disappointed it hasn't got an eagle anywhere on it, or two plates on one side and three on the other. Those are two things I require of the WWE Championship!
But that's rather nitpicky I suppose.

The spinner belt was originally designed for a rapper character, and thus the 'blinged out' look made sense, albeit making less sense as other people won it, but its origins at least justified it somewhat. But why is the new one exactly the same, just with a lot of empty space that they couldn't figure out how to fill? It's the worst of the spinner belt just with a design that manages to be bland and gaudy at the same time. Some of the designs in this thread look so much better, and they've been realised in less than a day since it was revealed. Could none of WWE's designers figure out the same things?

Better than the (non-)spinner, but still a disappointing effort.
I say unify the World Heavyweight Title and the WWE championship, and have Big Gold represent the WWE World Heavyweight Champion - it's by far the best designed belt (though I'd still want a larger version of it if it would be the main belt).

I want to like the new belt because it's not the spinner belt.(which wasn't needed) The design looks like the designs on the back pockets of douchebag jeans. They might as well put a flappy thing on the faceplate to complete the look.

I'm guessing instead of nameplates, it'll have the person's logo or something? Like Rock's is the Brahma Bull, Cena's would be one of those C's with the slash through it, Punk's would be the In Punk We Trust logo, Orton's would be a snake, etc. I think that's pretty cool.
The belt itself? Eh. Better than the Spinner but not all that great.

I thinks it's awesome, and can you imagine the up charge for fans wanting a different side plate. Oh you want Punks side plates? That's 50$

I'm thinking it'll be custom side plates for the top, top guys (Cena, Rock, maybe Punk and Sheamus), and the default plates for everyone else.

Not gunna lie. This looks so damn badass; Rocky was right to call it so.

Not gunna lie. This looks so damn badass; Rocky was right to call it so. Again, as with every photo of the belt so far apart from the screen-caps, thats really not like how it looked on TV. It didn't pick up that level of detail behind the W nor did it look that glossy, defined and new. I don't know if they're keeping a photo-shoot only HD belt again (as they did for "The Spinner") or if it was the arena lighting or the TV camera output or whatever, but either-way there is getting a worrying distance between the photo belt and the TV revealed belt. Edit: TV Belt for comparison:

Edit: TV Belt for comparison: It's never going to look the same with arena lighting as it does with a professionally done photo, though. Even with the HD cameras and all that, you just can't top a professional lighting studio in a smaller environment.

Yeah I agree, it's just I wish WWE would have thought this through and constructed a belt that looks as good if not better on TV (when the majority will be seeing it) than studio pictures.

They're brilliant. They can sell the belt, and sell seperate side plates for each wrestler.
Collect them all!
