This reminds me of when Paul Heyman faked the heart attack and when everyone got offended he said something to the effect of "You all wanted to Attitude era back, but you obviously can't handle it." Pretty sure I butchered that quote, but you get the gist lol.
Does anybody really think that this will end any way other than Zeb and Jack getting their comeuppance at 'Mania? Anybody?

I'm glad there's a majority acceptance anyway. On the LAW, it was talked about how everyone there liked the angle, but everyone who did the WON podcasts hated it, so they wondered if it had to do with them all being Canadian and people like Zeb and Jack don't seem to be as prevalent, or at least the political issues don't seem as prevalent in Canada. Even on Review a Raw, the big critique was it was too tame and Zeb and Jack seemed to be making sense. They also pointed out the issue with Del Rio coming off being a rich heel and how he really did take a lot from the country and already had more then enough for himself, if you get me.
So for me, and there are a bunch of threads on this now, but it's the hot topic of the day. So for me, the main problem with the angle is Del Rio being pushed as the hero mexican coming off a long run as a heel. He seems to be getting over, and he's a great wrestler, so that really helps people get behind him. But again, I'd love to see Hunico somehow get involved with this angle. I think he could be more relatable as a baby face, and he could be someone to get some heat for Swagger while keeping Del Rio strong going into Mania.

When you work the fans that are apparently "in the know", you've done good.
The next seven weeks are going to be hilarious.

Because I, and several other shareholders, are putting a stop to this racist and offensive angle cold in its tracks. You and "several other shareholders" are statistically insignificant. Vince: "Ok, stop the presses, 4 people who own maybe ten dollars worth of stock are offended! Abandon ship!" Seriously though, this gimmick is great. Zeb & Swagger are clean cut villains, and will get theirs in the end. Which is awesome, because in real life we'll never get to see these types put in their place and humiliated for being backwards imbeciles. And unlike the *other* Coulter, we might get to see this one ensiguiri'd in the face in the end. Win/win.

Dirty Dutch booked Puerto Rican wrestling for about ten years, doing incredibly well. It's a work, brothers!

A while back another shareholder, I think it's one of the mods, posted that he sent a letter or email asking them to stop the Vickie Guerrero fat jokes and apparently they stopped, so it might be possible if enough shareholders get pissed off or think it's bad for the company.

One last thing. My biggest fear would be Dutch getting let go. There is a lot he can do, but if this does legit start a problem and they have to let go Dutch like they did with Finlay, it would be a big issue with me. Last year, Dutch lost his 16 year old granddaughter after she was hit by a criminal on the run from the cops. They had a benefit show featuring James Storm last year for the family, and this is certainly something that would be great for Dutch to have a consistent job like this.
I'm not one to use the appeal from emotion or the tyranny of the majority as arguments. Because this could make Dutch lose his job after this issue, and the fact that more people like it then one person aren't reasons to not protest an angle. However, feeling offended by something like this, which isn't bad at all I feel, is patently absurd. But

Cole just did one last on Raw, when he mentioned weight watchers. But then, what seemed like a few minutes later, he said something about he was referring to Heyman. So he could have just been covering his tracks.

My only guess is that Zeb (love that Dutch Mantel is creating this much hubbub in 2013, at least) and Jack will probably get more offensive and "out there" (failed late WCW slogan) as the angle goes on, which will hopefully help quell whatever sympathizers they might have among a typical WWE crowd, and overshadow the logic flaws in ADR being offended by all this anyway. Regardless of all that, there's a big reason why ADR should dislike Swagger and his whole new shtick: Jack's trying to take his title! Which, good booking would suggest that he fails (at least at WM, if the angle gets some steam it could last well into the spring and Swagger might eventually get a run with the gold) and ADR gets the last laugh, considering Swagger is the heel and all. As far as the comparisons to the HHH/Booker angle go, as far as I'm concerned, that angle would have been fine if Booker would've won the title at Wrestlemania. What made that angle so atrocious was that the racist won!

I think it's fine for a bad guy to be absolutely horrific in what he states in promos.
I mean, Dutch & Swagger's characters haven't reached that level, they're just members of the 'passively-racist-Youtube-user' group right now, but I think the fact the commentators & other wrestlers are saying "wow, what idiots" to what's being cut across in promos it's fine.
It's not like Roddy Piper blacking up half of his body and getting cheered for it, it's a bad guy stating hateful & flawed logic. As long as they don't turn racist Swagger into a face then it's all fine.
