Kenny hefts Ion up for a suplex only for him to turn it into a hurracanrana, launching King across the ring! Ion gets to his feet and springboards off the ropes, taking King down as he rises with a flying crossbody! Rosita cheers loudly from the outside as Ion covers.
1!
2!
King kicks out. Ion yanks him back to his feet, hefting him up and bouncing him off the top rope before dropping him with a Slingshot Suplex. King arches off the mat in pain, Ion following up with a jumping leg drop across the throat! King grasps the area in pain as Ion yanks him up and whips him into the turnbuckle, charging in only to get a pair of knees to the face! Ion stumbles back as King leaps onto the second turnbuckle, taking Ion down with an Overcastle! Ion grabs his neck, King making a pin.
1!
2!
Ion kicks out. King yanks him from behind around the waist, sending him overhead with a German Suplex, bridging back for a second cover!
1!
2!
Ion once again slips free. King rises to his feet, rubbing at his throat before pulling Ion back up, Zema swinging with a clothesline only for King to duck underneath, using his impressive agility and nailing him in the back of the head with a handstand kick! Ion staggers back, grasping the afflicted area as King pops back up, powering him down with a Reverse STO! He rolls atop for the cover.
But Rosita has taken the referee, preventing a count! Annoyed by this, King stamps over and leans over the rope to the outside, yelling at Ion's cheerleader. As he does though Zema sneaks up, rolling him up with a schoolboy and hooking the tights!
1!
2!
But King reverses it, doing the very same with Ion's!
1!
2!
Ion escapes, rolling backward onto his feet and nailing King with an enziguri, taking him down! King grasps the back of his head, sitting up and right into a shining wizard from Zema! He flops back, Ion making the cover.
1!
2!
King gets the shoulder up.
Ion backs up in the ring, measuring the fallen King and charging full speed, rearing back and punting him with extreme prejudice!
IT'S GOOD!!!!
King goes rolling along the canvas, grasping at the area as Ion climbs atop, hooking the leg!

JB: Here is your winner... and still the TNA X-Division Champion, Zema Ion!
Zema Ion succesfully retains his hold here tonight! King made him work for it, but in the end the "All Star" came through. he may be... out there, but there's nothing wacky but his in-ring ability
Out there? You mean... Out of this world! The X-Division champion is going places, lemme tell you right now, Tenay!
But he just beat another of your golden boys, Kenny King. The guy who helped you kick Sadler out of this booth!
...Good point. Still....
Folks, coming up next is a real treat. The next contender will be decided here tonight! A Ten Man World Champion Contender Gauntlet! You don't wanna miss this one! -------------
We head to a clearly shaken up, Christy Hemme.
. . . being an interviewer is never an easy job. But when Sting said that Eric Young was willing to talk to me, I... I assumed that cameras would be okay. After a very harsh exchange, that turned out not to be the case. After breaking our camera, Sting beat up our cameraman and yelled at me. The interview clearly did not take place, and all I can say to Eric Young is that I apologize and am still very interested in talking. But Eric, while I'm sorry, the viewers have a right to know how one of the top stars in Impact Wrestling is doing and when they could hope to see him in action again.
If you could find it in your heart to grant me another interview, it would mean a lot. No cameras, I promise.
The shot fades.

A woman is sitting in the doctor’s office…
But doc, I eat right, I exercise every day, I get eight hours of sleep every night! What more can I do?!
The camera pans out to reveal that Joey Ryan is the doctor.
Well Hayley, four out of five doctors agree, Joey Ryan can improve your outlook on life… Wanna find out for yourself?
Dr. Ryan pulls the woman close to him as we fade out. ---------------------
We cut to the back where a familiar face is standing by, a smug look on his face. He's clad in a white jacket with the Union Jack emblazoned across the back, sunglasses, and low cut jeans.
Ladies and gentlemen... the Mag Daddy is back tonight! The former three time world champion is back to stake his claim. You see, tonight I'm gonna be one of the many that finally gets himself back in the mix. Everyone's been saying since I lost the tag titles with Williams that I'm done, I'm out of the picture, I'm nothing more than a distant memory.
Magnus lowers his glasses, rolling his eyes into the camera.
But we all know that's a bunch of poppycock. After all when you've had the sort of success I've had here in TNA you can't just quit cold turkey. And tonight in this evening's little World Title contender gauntlet I've been given one more opportunity to impress, to put my name back on the map, to once again get back to where I was.
Ever since I lost the tag titles as well as the guidance of Hulk Hogan, I've been doing some thinking. The Hulkster, he gave me some great advice, some of it good, some of it... well a bit less palatable for some. But he saw something me that he hadn't seen in many others for awhile. The last names that even spring to mind would be Phil Shatter and Tommy Mercer. And like them I've fallen off the radar as of late.
However unlike Mercer and Shatter, I'm not content to just sit in the background and sit on my arse for a paycheck every week. No, if I'm going to be in this company there's only thing that'll make it worthwhile for me: success. The million dollar word in this business that everybody wants to be able to use. Success is the difference between a guy jerking the curtain in some dump in a crowd of a dozen or so people and headlining with his name in lights in the biggest stadiums in the world to the adoration of millions of screaming fans.
Truth be told I don't even know who all is in this match tonight. It's been kept close to the chest without a doubt. But honestly it doesn't matter to me. All that matters is that tonight the Mag Daddy showing to the world and everyone in the back that's he here to reclaim his throne. And Alex, Anderson, tonight you're looking at a man whose hungry to get back to where he once was. So no matter who wins tonight... watch your backs because Magnus will be watching you.
Lads, tonight you're stepping in the ring with the Big M himself. And rest assured that I'm going to show each and every single one of you why I'm a three time a champ, a former tag team champion, and one of the best damn talents in the world going today!
Magnus grins and raises those sunglasses once more, strutting away.
(Next match in five minutes.)

JB: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the TNA World Champion Gauntlet! Here are the rules: in just a moment the men who drew numbers one and two will enter the ring. Every two minutes following another man will join them. Elimination occurs when you are thrown over the top rope and your feet touch the floor. When we are down to the final two men the match can only be won by pinfall or submission. The winner will earn a future title opportunity at the winner of tonight's main event!
Introducing the man who drew number one...
JB: From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kurt Angle!
Looks like the Olympic gold medalist will be the first out of the blocks. Not a good position to be in, but far from impossible to win from.
Looks like the nutjob has his work cut out for him. But hey, if anybody can go the distance its this guy.
JB: Introducing the man who drew number two...
JB: ...from Tampa, Florida, Jay Lethal!
Oh wow! Jay Lethal is back here in TNA! Granted, not on a permanent basis, but Flair and Bischoff weren't kidding about surprises!
Yeah, I gotta hand it to them. They really pulled out all the stops here tonight!
Two great competitors to kick things off. Who will come out on top?
Angle locks up with Lethal, taking him into a side headlock. Lethal however spins free, countering into a drop toe hold and driving Angle face-first into the mat. He floats over and applies a necklock, Angle pushing to a vertical base and elbow his way free. He grabs Lethal and takes him down with a Fireman's Carry, following with an elbow drop! Lethal gasps out in pain, sitting up as Angle climbs atop, pummeling Lethal with a few well placed forearms. He yanks him up by the throat, charging over and tossing him over the top rope!
Lethal however lands on the apron, catching Angle with a kick to the side of the head and sending him stumbling back. He springs onto the top rope, taking Kurt off his feet with a missile dropkick!
Kurt Angle vs Jay Lethal Three votes to eliminate someone. Every two minutes another competitor will enter and votes will reset. You can vote for someone multiple times.

And here comes the three time champion, Magnus! Definitely a favorite, I'd have to assume.
Magnus makes his way down to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and nailing Lethal with a flying clothesline! He then springs up and hits Angle with one as well, taking the Gold Medalist off his feet! He scoops Lethal off the mat, planting him into the mat with a running Powerslam! Then for good measure he grabs Angle as well, sending him off the ropes and hitting him with a stiff Spinebuster!

It's Big Poppa Pump! Things are about to get real crazy now!
Scott Steiner charges into the ring, running wild with Steinerlines aplenty. He grabs Magnus/Lethal/Angle and clings them overhead with a belly to belly! Big Poppa Pump then drops on his knees and flexes, kissing his bicep as he does.

Elimination!
Magnus hits Lethal with the Tormentum, scoops him up and chucks him over the top rope!
Well looks like Lethal's return was a short one.

Another man looking for another shot, Bobby Lashley has tangled in the world of MMA and tonight he's looking to get another chance in TNA!
Bobby Lashley enters the ring, going right for Steiner, exchanging blows with the big man. Steiner seems to get the better of it, backing Lashley off against the ropes and whipping him off towards the other side. He goes for a back body drop, but Lashley stops and counters with a stiff fist to the face! Steiner stumbles back, Lashley hefting him up high into the air and sending him skyward with a Military Press!

And here comes the Icon with his boys! Sting was out here earlier, but tonight he's got an opportunity to win a chance at the belt. And who knows, if he wins he may give EY the chance he deserves.
Sting walks down the aisle, flanked by Morgan and Devon. He makes his way to the ring at a methodical pace, stepping into the ring and catching Angle/Lethal in mid punch, countering with one of his own! He throws a flurry at everyone still in the ring, taking them down one by one until finally he grabs Magnus/Angle, hefting him up and driving him down with a Vertical Suplex!

Oh boy, it's Samoa Joe. I dont think anybody's happy to see this guy, myself included.
Samoa Joe makes his way down to the ring, everyone immediately turning their attention towards him as he makes his way down. Joe steps through the ropes only for the other competitors to go right after him, pummeling him from each side in an attempt to make sure the big man doesn't have a long stay! Joe however breaks free, grabbing Angle and headbutting him aside, sending him into the nearby turnbuckle! He does the same for Magnus, sending them tumbling along the mat as well.

Samoa Joe steals Kurt's leg and eats it. He is so distracted that one-legged Angle hobbles up and drops him with a single leg dropkick.

Styles is out and ready to fly!
AJ Styles charges down to the ring, springboarding off the top rope and taking Joe down with a flying crossbody! He then follows up with a dropkick to Angle, sending him down as well. He grabs Magnus who attempts a clothesline, countering with a Styles Clash and taking them down to the canvas! As he rises back up though Lashley scoops him up, depositing him with a stiff spinebuster!
