The only guy from The Outsiders that didn't turn out to be a superstar...C. Thomas Howell.

The only guy from The Outsiders that didn't turn out to be a superstar...C. Thomas Howell. It wasn't exactly a comeback role or anything, but he did have a decent role in The Amazing Spider-Man. That's one of his bigger mainstream successes in years.

Val Kilmer instantly springs to mind. The guy was a huge movie star in the 90's, and put in some amazing performances. Now he mostly does poorly received direct-to-video projects (aside from the amazing "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang"). The talent is still there, I'd love to see a comeback.

Mr. T. I honestly think that Tarantino could find a good role for him.

Now let's come up with a plot that could use Keaton, Kilmer, Guttenberg, Hauer, Ryder, Ford, Gibson, Howell, etc.

Id like to see him try with Tom Sizemore, just to see if he can.

Wasn't his last theatrical film "MacGruber"?

I'll side with the Keaton crowd. It's crazy that he wasn't a bigger star, I was always a fan of him. Keaton had starring roles in double-digit major releases. I'd say he made it as big as I can see a guy like him getting. That said, he is a very talented guy whose career could use a recharge. Liked him in The Other Guys.

The thing with Michael Keaton is that his career didn't die some embarrassing death. He just went into semi-retirement after Batman Returns because he wanted to spend more time with his family. He stopped working, but work didn't stop being offered to him. Anything you see him in now is just Michael Keaton having fun, ala The Other Guys.

Joke answer: Tommy Wiseau
Serious answer: Mel Gibson

He's never had "major star" potential and he's got a decent supporting role on Boardwalk Empire, but I'd love to see Christopher McDonald in one of his works.

Joke answer: Tommy Wiseau Serious answer: Mel Gibson Watched him in Get the Gringo on Netflix last week. Dude still oozes movie star but he isn't getting any younger. Maybe if he can keep his head out of his ass for a while he'll get one more run.

Mel Gibson by far. If Bruce Willis can be brought back to leading man, so can Mel Gibson (obviously, he needs to shut up).

Great calls on Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer. I'd like to see what Tarintino could do with Dolph Lundgren. Dolph is already too busy producing Direct to DVD movies.
