The Catwoman movie that was supposed to be a spinoff of the Burton films. Eventually it mutated beyond recognition and became the Halle Berry abomination. That still ties into the Burton Bat Movies by showing Michelle Pfeiffer at one point.

The two biggest I know of are X-Men Origins: Magneto and Deadpool. Both were rumored to be on the horizon right about when X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out, but nothing has come of either one. The Magneto film evolved into First Class, but they kept a ton of the ideas for Magneto in the film. Deadpool can't get made because, according to Ryan Reynolds and the scriptwriters, Fox is scared to take a chance on the film because they're stuck in the mindset that Deadpool is a superhero and needs to be PG-13, and the script is a hard R. Which is weird thing to think because weren't the Blade movies pretty big hits

Which is weird thing to think because weren't the Blade movies pretty big hits all the Blade movies were not only successful financially, but were very popular. Enough so to get a tv show spinoff. One that was actually pretty damn good. It's a shame it ended after just one season. Plus the Tom Jane Punisher was successful, and there really are tons of successful r rated comeic book movies, but because they don't make blockbuster money they don't get made anymore. Is what it is. Watchman not tearing the charts up is probably to blame more than anything, total bullshit. But Marvel isn't exactly trying to push anything than their established formula either.

Wasn't there supposed to be a Lobo movie? Starring The Rock no less, but he eventually dropped out when the project lost steam (thank god). I'd love to see Lobo on screen, but not badly enough to see him played by Dwayne Johnson.

I'd love to see Lobo on screen, but not badly enough to see him played by Dwayne Johnson. The main issue was that, a lot of these films seemed to either have been concieved on impulse after a certain movie hadn't even been finished, or were planning to utilize anybody that seemed hot in pop culture, which is a dangerous thing. To me, the Made Man deserves to be played with somebody who's larger and has some grit in him, and I don't think Dwayne would've done the character any justice.

Man, poor Rock. He's supposed to have been Namor, Lobo, and Black Adam, and yet none of those movies have happened.

I remember they announced Lobo right after Avengers had that huge opening along with a bunch of other movies that I doubt they had done serious work on.

I've seen that leaked script and yeah. Very hard R.

Batman Triumphant If Batman and Robin hadn't been a disaster there would of been a third Joel Schumacher batman film and rumor has it at one time Bret freaking Hart was considered to play Batman. One must wonder how much nuclear grade cocaine the person who suggested this shoved up their nose because seriously eh wtf. Wasn't Schumacher also threatening a "Year One" flick at one time? I love Year One, but the idea of Joel Schumacher doing it freaks me out.
