I'm over this podcast. Way too many uninteresting shows in a row.

To be honest I would be suprised if it lasts too much longer
4 years is a long time, it helped boost his profile but I think year the quality of guests has fallen and with guys like Austin etc. and constant big name guests, it will just squeeze AoW out slowly but surely

To me the only way aow would jump the shark it's if Colt interviews Steve the Turtle Weiner for the full hour (ironically enough weiner once appeared for 10 minutes once)

I'll be shocked if it lasts another year. I understand not every episode can be a huge name, nor should it be. But there's been a good bit of very uninteresting guests lately, in my opinion. I think Steve Austin has surpassed Colt at this point. He gets (mostly) interesting guests and even when it's just him answering questions or talking nonsense, it's still a fun listen. His episode on Thursday was mostly him describing things like taking a shit and it was hilarious. I'm a fan of Colt Cabana, but I think his star has just about faded. Maybe it's because I rarely listen anymore, but it just seems like his 'buzz' has definitely taken a steady nosedive.

I agree with you man, colt's been living from that shout out punk gave him in 2011, and it's starting to get old. It was a gradual thing, we were all happy for him when he became the nwa world champion, but he never advertised it on his twitter or promoted elsewhere, during that time he had a tour in noah and he brought the belt with him, and he just looked awkward having the belt on his shoulder. I think the main reason he's losing his appeal is because we all felt that he would be signing at anytime with the wwe. He even turned down an offer from roh to return last year... I haven't seen him wrestle in any major indy or japan in the whole year, hell I don't think that I've seen him wrestle anywhere this year. I think that his podcast won't be around for longer, after it got hacked and didn't worked for 2 weeks, and I don't think too many people care for the episodes he did in Scottland. The only thing that could save the aow, and Colt's career, would be if CM Punk did an episode and explain with details why he quit the wwe, but I think it's impossible for it to happen. Or Colt should take Austin's example and just do shows about him bullshitting and taking questions from fans.

I don't think the podcast is going anywhere. It still has a great fan base I believe, I think Colt could get some better guests on though and move with the times. Interviewing his old mates isn't cutting it any more. He should be getting obscure guests like 80s TV jobbers on. Bound to be some great stories that will otherwise unheard.

Disagree I don't want him talking to old people he's not friends with. Ones where he interviewed dudes from the 80s were the lamest aside from when he interviews nobodies. He needs to re-interview guys he hasn't had a podcast with in 3 or 4 years. People like Fandango, Daniel Bryan, etc are worlds away from where they were when they were originally interviewed.

Screw you guys, I for one am Colt loyal! I enjoy some of the ones with more obscure guys. There was one from a while back I actually didnt enjoy but I cant even remember who that was now. Yeah the ones from Edinburgh wern't the best but I'll give him a pass on those considering he was over there working. I think there are plenty more episodes to come both with old school guys and re-interviewing his friends and such. The world of wrestling is so massive and filled with varied characters that I really cant see a podcast like this fizzling out and I enjoy both AOW and Austin's and it can even be interesting hearing the same person being interviewed by both and hearing different perspectives.

You all really didn't like the Ariya Daivari episode? He has a really unique story, watching your brother go from looking for wrestling schools online to getting the big boot from Hulk Hogan and then trying to follow his footsteps. Couple that with him actually being a kid during the Attitude Era, and it's a pretty interesting discussion.
I like when Colt has the super recognizable guests, but a part of the fun for me has always also been being introduced to someone new and cool through these interviews too.

"Screw you guys?" Just because we disagree with you that doesn't gives you the right to said that...I've been loyal to Colt for years, I've been giving him a pass all year, and guess what? His podcast has been mediocre at best this whole year, I'm tired of him interviewing irrelevant people, except the Dean Ambrose episode and JR owning Colt all the other episodes suck. I'm also tired of Colt Cahana period, he isn't a pro wrestler anymore, if he wants to be a comedian, bless him and hope he does great, but in my opinion his wrestling career is gotta be ending soon, he hasn't done anything relevant this year. It's ok for you to disagree with my opinion, but you don't get to cuss me out.

It sure seems like this show is definitely on the death bed. I remember seeing this thread bumped every Thursday, now it's seemingly dead.
If anyone still cares, today's episode is another live episode with Colin Delaney, Eddie Kingston, and Johnny Gargano. This was yet another skip for me. At this rate, I may as well unsubscribe.

A live one? Again? I hate those, one time he did one with Generico and a baby cried a lot, you couldn't hear anything else, also when it's multiple guests it's a clusterf*** (except gallows and compton) Colt sprays to thin focusing his attention on each guest. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the AOW jumped the shark, not this week, but when the hacker f***ed up the fee and Colt uploaded sub par episodes then, instead of doing another episode he reuploads the JR episode. I respect Gargano and Eddie, but unless it's Eddie announcing his retirement I'm not gonna hear it, just realized that for the past 4 months I haven't heard that much except old episodes, and the ones I heard weren't so good, the Cherry Bomb one sucked, Colt doesn't know how to interview women, he tried to take control of the conversation, Cherry's lucky she got any word in. I think Colt should stop the aow if the quality decreases.

Most of the live shows come off as one big frat party. Guys talking over one another, others are trying to get themselves over in the audience, chanting for every stupid thing. And the unnecessary cursing...I just shut it off after 5-10 minutes.
I actually prefer his older episodes. He is a fan of the '80s, so why not ask the wrestlers of that era to come on the show?

You're with the crowd noise and multiple guests trying to get their shit in, it comes off as amateurish, like at least the other podcasts present themselves as more professional. Also, I'm not listening to this week's episode, but I read on the description that there is a problem with the audio, the Cherry Bomb episode also had shitty audio, Colt putting up 2 episodes in a row that the audio is subpar, shows me that he doesn't care anymore. On a side note I've just read a recent article of him, he was working on a high school gym, like less than 30 people watching, and his finisher was the GTS, he told the interviewer that since Punk left the business he let Colt keep doing his move...kinda pathetic that you can't create a buzz by yourself and keep mooching from your friend, and dropping the Punk name to the interviewer trying to come off as a big shot when you just worked in a high school gym. Maybe Colt needs to leave the business for a while
